I learned of Anthony Warlow from the Complete Symphonic Recording of Les Mis, and I found this video while I was looking for more stuff by him. God, he's amazing. I had never heard of John Farnham before (I'm from the US, sue me :P). But man, he's amazing too! Great song, great performance. Thanks for posting it. :D

Chris Thompson is one of the writers of the song, as well as three other people. They all wrote the song for John Farnham. You can catch him singing this song with the Alan Parsons Project on youtube, and who cares about Archuleta, his version doesn't have the passion and strength that Johnny's had. Thompson even performed it better than Archuleta. It still is true blue Aussie song.
