This is my first time ever commenting on a youtube video. I had to setup a login just to give my kudos to this song. This is one of those songs, that stands off an album. It is Instantly nostalgic. It reminds and rewinds to those special past relationships and friendships. This tune is right my wheel house...Great stuff.
Two people are in a relationship, but it's becoming increasingly obvious that the feelings are one-sided, and things are not going to work out. Perhaps one feels betrayed or led along, but whatever the case, the 'house' they built together - their relationship, as both lovers and friends - is burning down around them. In the end, they hold their breath with their mouths together, sharing one last kiss as a final goodbye, and a last chance to recapture the spark they once had...

I wish i would know the hidden meaning of the lyrics. This song is beautiful and filled with emotions like @holla3w Said. but if anyone can explain the lyrics that to me that would be lovely.
Every time I hear Peter Silverman's voice it makes me realize what true musical art is. This album is just has just as much, if not more, emotion than hospice. I could listen to it forever. <3
There are plenty of bands that probably play 'better' music than this band, but there aren't many that make music with as much feeling and emotion as The Antlers. Beautiful stuff
