  • Universe is such full of amazing things :D Sometimes when i try to imagine the complexity and understand the complexity of the outer space i realize the real uniqueness of all

  • Planets orbit Coplanar (in the same plane) because when all this formed it was a huge dust cloud . The cloud collapsed and any spin that is in a cloud before it collapses is increased by momentum. If you notice... most galaxies are spinning like this too. The planets formed from this dust collapse. This is one of the reasons the kicked Pluto out as a planet. It does not orbit in the same plane as the other major eight planets. Just my opinion from reading books.

  • i wonder why the planet orbits are flat, like a disc. Should the orbit suppose to be more than mmm spherical around the sun and not really like a flat disc with everything circling it around?

  • @cramtoro the planets' orbits are _almost_ perfectly spherical. The eccentricity is so slight it's not noticable on an image this small. Also, they're all in basically the same orbital plane around the sun.
