well they didn't really have to work on diamonds in the rough in 08, it was just a continuation (side b) to their self titled. rumor has it they're working on another album so yeah i think we might see another one later this year

Doubt that. They're starting to work on the album seriously later this spring. Late april or May. I'd guess a new albumis due this time next year unlesss they're really fucking quick. :)

Nah they said they are going to start working on it in June thats about the same time they started working on A7X so I think the album should probaby be released the same time in October or maybe November. I would not be surprised if it was december but that would be a huge stretch

dude just wondering at 3:08 where the last note of the solo is (i know u learned it by ear but..) - did u use a pinch harmonic? I'm trying to learn this solo too and using my digitech whammy pedal to go up an octave for that part

no, i didnt use harmonics. im pretty sure syn uses a pedal for that whole last measure of the solo. which is why mine doesnt sound quite high enough... i dont have a pedal.
