  • honestly say, ive only ever posted about 2 videos on youtube since when the site began. but i couldt resist...HOW THE HELL CAN YOU EXPECT TO GET THE PRICE YOU PAID FOR THEM!!! AND THEN YOU MAKE IT WORSE BY IMPLYING YOU'LL BE FAIR AS YOU WONT MAKE ANY MONEY ON US HAHA!

  • It's opened, you can't sell it 100% fresh cash.

  • reference headphones... were never designed for headbanging

  • thanks for the review even though it may have not been your intentions, i now know that these headphones arent for me. honestly even though i know my car audio when it comes to headphones im a newbie and im having the hardest time trying to figure out what headphones would suit me best, 2 others i was looking at are the ath-m50 and a few of the sennheisers and beyerdynamic sets too.

  • These headphones should be burned in for over 100 hours... You can't just have them for 2 days and then turn around and sell them...

  • Give you 50 bucks for those second-hand cans.

Any more and you'd be ripping me off!

  • This beats HD650 hands down.

  • @overclockinggurus Agree with this 100%

But IMO my Beyerdynamic T1's best them all!!

  • @overclockinggurus Not really

  • These are 'monitoring' headphones bro. If you want sound, or bass, to be 'hyped-up', you have to go for consumer level headphones.

  • Lolz why would anyone pay full price for a pair of second hand headphones? Realistically your looking to get a 50% return on the new price.

  • @TheRealPhoenix he actually said he would not make some money from it, that's the funny point.

  • what does "burning in" headphones mean?

  • @joNMikhaelw00T Its the time that it take's for the Speakers to "Burn in", basically most high end one's don't sound excellent when your first get them, generally a good 50-75 hour burn in, i.e. playing music through them , after this they sound top notch :)

  • I agree with them not being "headbanging" - you can never beat grados for rock music in general! My AKG's sound sublime with jazz or lighter rock though, nothing comes close! They needed a good pre-amp however, and a lengthy burn in time for my ears. Well worth the wait :)

  • I agree with the "Grados for Rock" statement. Honestly, I didn't really have the setup to truly power the AKG702's. But yes, Grados the headbanging headphones that I was seeking. The 702's have the largest soundstage I have ever heard from a full sized headphone, and exceptional instrument seperation. I think that's their greatest feature.

  • couldn't have said it better myself

  • he might want to consider a helmet with speakers for his 'headbanging'. ha.

  • Grado have nice punchy bass, hence why it's a headbanger lol.

  • They are known to be lacking in bass

  • @birdlives2000 I swear man, they do NOT lack in bass, bass is amazingly good, clear crisp and accurate. It does get rolled off, which is where a 3db boost in the 30hz region comes in to play...making them perfect....of course in MY opinion :)

  • FLAWNS: Nuclearcollision is right, Grado SR 325is is awsome. I just bought it. Am using it as a I type. Ultimate head banging headphone.

  • can you recommend me a nice mic? perhaps b/c i use a program called "ventrillo" i need a mic along with the headphones.....

Please let me know. and thanks for your honest answer ;) im placing a order NOW

  • im in the market looking for the EXACT same thing as you described.

do you know any headphones that are similar to what you said "head banging"
