@BikdipOnABus Yeah, but you already said yourself that you're really at this game. Whereas I don't find Megaman games very difficult, even with practice I suck at this game. I did a practice run on medium and had 700 ish deaths, then did a hard run and ended with 898 deaths, so I guess it just depends on who's playing and how much skill you have in these types of games.

I beat this on Very Hard, too! :D Now I'm trying for something I call "Even Harder" mode. Basically I'm playing in Hard but I am restricting myself to using only the first save after (or in the Guy's case, before) every boss, which changes the number of saves from 22 to 8 (I play it on Hard because if I did it in Very Hard I would have to, say, go all the way from the very start to past the spike tunnel without dying, since thats the closest save if you don't count the one before Mike Tyson.)

@Bartolinho20 as far as I know, Kayin even did a speed run of very hard mode and has posted his time and death count somewhere and challenged people to beat him... I'm not sure if it has happened now, and I can't remember kayins record but I remember it being awfully fast with a bare minimum of deaths. Hell, he's the programmer so he'll know of way more exploits than anyone^^
