I first heard this song on Robbie Robertson's "Music For Native Americans" many years ago. The imagery used in your video only adds to the beauty of the song. It also adds a sadness that so many tribes we will never know & a reminder of what the British & Americans have tragically done to a great race rich with culture, tradition & heritage. I can only hope to be forgiven & to somehow someday be able to give something back. Peace
great song great wisdom what a great tribe native indians are ,coming from Ireland we love your vision always did always will .May the great Spirit of God always protect and help native indians .
The native american aspects always fascinate me, as long as I can remember. I would like to thank you for posting it. Fantastic! Really wonderful! Thank you again for the chance you gave me to see it!
Since a kid watching westerns in the 50's it dawned on me who were the real warriors-the Indians! from there on I was always on their side. This was the first ethnic cleansing I understood to have happened. True American history will be when a native American Indian becomes President! And not before!
Akua Tuta by Kashtin (Part English Translation from Innu Aionun) Be careful what you do Be careful what you do with the thing you protect Be careful what you do Be careful what you do with the thing which has helped you Take care of our land Be careful what you do the way you were raised Take care of our grandfathers Take care of our grandmothers too Take care of your children and your brother and sister's children too
@UISTMAN59 I had the great pleasure of meeting and speaking to Chief Dan George, he looked into your eye and directly into your soul. I have never forgotten the iron in his hand and the reflection of tomorrow in his eyes.
Excellent!
