I agree with lamal3 - the front end spoils it a bit for me, I think the Zonda is more striking and more beautiful and I'd rather have a Cinque.

The interior is beautiful. It's problably the most beautiful and well crafted interior I've seen in a supercar.

Still the Koenigsegg Agera and CCX are my favourites and if I had millions and millions I'd probably buy one of them first.

If I had that kind of money I'd have one of these in my collection too.

@jeekilla1 The dials on an Aventador are modified Audi units that are accurate but nothing special. The dials on a Huayra are built by Swiss watch-makers. It's a no expense spared machine and the design of the car isn't done by different teams and then fitted together, it is the vision of one man from the ground up with the best of everything regardless of cost and is therefore a much more complete car. I get what you are saying but this thing is unbelievably special. People bought the Veyron.

Neither the Aventador nor the 599GTO has a whopping 1000Nm torque (740 Ib ft for those few non-metric countries). Also the Huayra is very light with its 1350 kilos (compared to the around 1700 kilos for the Aventador) so the power to weight ratio is clearly superior for the Huayra, not to mention the torque to weight ratio is insane.

Also that AMG Mercedes engine is surely way more reliable and smooth than those insanely tuned Ferrari and Lamborghini engines. In hot countries...

Torque figures for the cars.

Pagani Huayra; 1000Nm (and rumours say Mercedes could easily get 1200Nm but the gearboxes couldn't take that much)

Lamborghini Aventador: 690Nm

Ferrari 599 GTO: 620Nm.

Once you reach speeds above 300km/h the wind resistance is so insane lots of torque helps to battle the forces the stop the car from accelerating further. Which means that as the Aventador and 599GTO runs out of steam at high speeds the Huayra still has power reserves to use.

@jeekilla1 You're right, it is a ludicrous price. However we normal people can look at it and just see a ridiculous listing, but a billionaire will see an investment. They'll see exclusivity. When you're rich enough to wipe your arse with 100 dollar bills everything else goes out the window.

What you're buying when you have the money is the absolute best of the best and exclusivity. Like a Veyron. A 250 GTO is 15 or so million British pounds and I'd have that over everything else.
