A seriously underrated program. After Sarajevo, this is my favorite FD of their entire career. I would even count it above Tosca so far. If they'd just had more time with this I think we would have seen a magnificent performance of it at the 2007 Worlds.
It´s not underrated, they had noticeable mistakes in the tweezles and the diagonal steps, but good enough for being the second time they skated it. In fact I still think this is the best program they´ve ever had. They could have gotten more than the bronze if had had enough time to develop it.
really an underrated program, wish they had used it the full season opposed to that gimmicky "thats entertainemtn" piece...will be interesting to see what they do with coaching change...
I don't like the start with Comptines (I have the cd at home so...), they should have started with La Valse d'Amelie Poulin..and they cut the best the song (The waltz)...
The level of technique was so so but their lifts were beautiful and acrobatic.
They are still good dancers, but my favourites are the canadians..
Plan and simple, if you don't like their skating, don't watch em.
And, also put simply, I loved this program like no other. I dont know why either; the music is perfect, atleast for me, and I feel they tap the emotion behind it.

It´s a shame that a poor level of technique and and the worst performance I´ve ever seen can be at the podium, it´s not a surprise of course they are americans....they think in acrobatic rather than art....
If you compare their earlier progams to what they're doing now, you'll see a huge difference. Belbin and Agosto may be young, but they are aware of their strengths and weaknesses and they work hard to improve. While I do agree that this FD isn't one of their best, they won the bronze because they deserve it, NOT because "they are Americans".
Don't be mad at her. It's not her fault that their current British ice dance champions can't compete against American (and Canadian) ice dancing couples.
Hey, I love the Brits, too. If I could live in London (or in many other locations) right now, I would. I just had to defend this couple and this performance. Whenever someone complains about a great American skater(s) in that manner, I can't be quiet about it. But I did see the British national ice-dancing champions 2006-07 performance, and it was horrible. Belbin & Agosto's program last year had great music and musical interpretation.
Thank you for your defense of my country, particularly because you're not from America yourself. It angers me to no end that U.S. athletes are always the ones who do well simply because they're "Americans." I often feel many people from many countries would take every medal we've EARNED in international competition away from the U.S.A. if we could.
Jealousy wouldn't get you nowhere, my friend. If it was American judges then there could be bias. But these are international sports (like most of other sports out there), so you can't really say we are cheating. If you don't like the performance then that's fine. You don't have to put it in such a negative light. You have something against Americans then fine, but don't be bias just because they are American athletes. They work as hard as anyone else.
Oh honestly! Tanith and Ben are AMAZING!!! They're 5 time national champions! Why are you even watching this if you don't give a hoot about them?! Keep it to yourself!
i love there first lift, the rest, not so much...i just dont think they have the stratagie to top anyone of the other teams out there... but they have great speed and great step sequences ( with the exeption of this performance at the worlds)
i'm new in the ranks of fans for ice dancing, i just got interested in this apparatus, can someone explain to me what the one point deduction was. Something time related?
oh come on there is a HUGE difference!bulgarian's and canadian's programs were just great creativly and technicly.this one looks like they had only 5 minutes to prepare it it looks very hollow!
They actually kind of did put it together in 5 minutes. After the response to their "That's Entertainment" program during the grand prix, they quickly came up with a new program for nationals to music from "Amelie". And they performed very well. They deserve better than third!
so what if they "put it together in 5 minutes"? what counts is the FINAL result, which wasn't good. and they didn't deserve more than third. they didn't even deserved third - they should've been behind french and russians.
Plus, they didn't expect to win--they actually changed their clothes and were leaving the building when they were called back to the podium. I even wrote an article about it on my blog, Figure Skating Fan. YouTube won't let me put the URL here, so you'll have to do a search to read it.
what is the 2nd song used?

This is a better program than Tosca. I'm guessing they were still with Marina Zueva when this was performed.
