Audio-Technica AT2020 USB Microphone Unpackaging

Hi. Do you think I can use this AT2020USB to put the mic on a small conference table and record the conversation of me interviewing 1 or 2 people seated about 4 feet away? Is it sensitive enough to pick up a good level of sound without getting a lot of hiss or hum? Thanks much, Hal.
