Hi fatcatbuzz thanks for posting this one as one of the writers of the Rupert The Bear song I hadn't heard this before but it was really cool as cool as the Toy Dolls punk version of it...great fun ta! best ron roker
The last year of Lush's recording history, when you count B-sides and "one-offs" like this, yielded something like three albums. I was lucky to have seen them at the Whiskey (Los Angeles Sunset Strip) in 1996 and they were in full command of their body of work past and present. As it was, Lush was running out of time but they remain one of the most fascinating/tragic "what if" cases of 1990's British music history. My point: don't think I didn't pay attention here in America at that time.
@gibbonduder182 I have the fan flexi disk - never wanted to play it til I had a good turntable and recording device, since it would only sound best the first time played... guess now I can just convert this audio :D

Lush could cover just about anything, and make it better:)

@zintrigue
They always did class cover versions! Cover versions normally kill musical creativity but Lush just somehow cracked it every time.

Thanks for sharing this mate, especially since I don't have this record.
As far as I know, it was Chris' idea to play it.
