  • TIL Howard Stern used to be in Kraftwerk

  • inscrivez les morceaux du disc mercie

  • gibts das in voller länge?

  • Is Florian playing with ducks?

  • Is the flute player the one making the annoying wah sounds....

  • @boibad12 yep

  • Pretty neat..thanks for posting..

  • VLC media player? 1:28

  • Great camera and sound quality. Boring garage jam session. Be real.

Florian turned to electro because they needed a change.

  • @Viewthrutrees It was 1971 man, who cares about camera and sound quality. It shows one of the earlier performances before Kraftwerk. It has historic value. Go somewhere else to postulate your cynicism

  • They are so much like Can right here, it's crazy...

  • Kein Kraftwerk. Neu mit Florian Schneider

  • @PoserExposer. yes well spotted! also @0.32 Klaus Dingers glasses become "detached!"

  • Notice the cymbal fall off the stand at 1:46?

  • SUPER COMME TOUJOURS

  • great quality!

  • Truckstop Gondolieri/Vor Dem Blaun Bock.....!

  • 1971 and the dude is already using flute through pedals/effects/synths... amazing sh*t, on another dimension...

  • this is math rock, right? genre-wise??

  • @icaledshotgun Not really -- it's Krautrock, which came before and influenced math rock.

  • wie geil.... :o)

    Grossartiger Stoff.

  • I am only new to Kraftwerk.

I heard about them in the late 90's and always thought they were formed in the late 90's.

Little did I know these guys were doing their thing way back when Jim Morrison was alive and the Doors were at their peak!!!!!

Like I said, I'm new to these guys and am getting into their "werk"!!!!!

  • You can hear the early beginnings of Neu! in this live jam. Great stuff!

  • 0:29 cool!

  • wow !!

  • Nobody wanted to play with them as they was using sound processing techniques that made their music misunderstood by many. But dude, does this sound cool or what?!

check out the CONE in the front!

  • THE REAL KRAFTWERK Experimental Music !... 1970

  • Well, they ain't no Ian Anderson/Jethro Tull, but very good all the same.

  • It's amazing to see this Kraftwerk formation!

  • Grossen Fail --- this isn't Kraftwerk

  • @nyomythus They are Kraftwerk. Read about their history.

  • @nyomythus Yes, it's Kraftwerk.

  • I wonder if Florian can do with a woman what he can do with a flute

  • Incredible what Florian does with the electro-flute. This was a superb team.

  • Vor Dem Blauen Bock aka Trucktstop Gondolieri

  • If you need proof that it is Kraftwerk, just see the road cone at stage center, the emblem of Kraftwerk over their first three albums. I'm glad that Ralf Hutter rejoined as I see him as the one who gave Kraftwerk their direction.

  • NEU! UND FLORIAN

  • its the Kraftwek trio of Rother, Dinger and Florian just before Neu!

  • Marvelous stuff!

  • this is totally Kraftwerk (NEU! was formed at the end of 1971 and the beginning of 1972), Ralf has left the band for a short time in 1971, and this videoclip is the only known performance without Ralf, besides a show for Radio Bremen.

  • this is very cool. i wish the guitarist would stand when he played, but a minor concern. quality music

  • 0:32 forget the glasses! lets krautrock!!!!

  • This is totally Neu!

  • this is NEU! not Kraftwerk....

  • @hellfaucet This is kraftwerk man...Neu! formed in 71 but this must be from earlier that year.

  • Klaus, du bist ein Trommelgott!!

  • masterpiece

  • Just Splendid..

  • splendid material here on you tube....this is art

  • This aweinspiring Krautrok! So many artist of the last 30 years or so owe these guys some props - this tune sounds like the inspiration for half of the Death in Vegas catalog (which I love!)

  • Sounds more like Neu! with Florian guesting, but I guess that's pretty much what it is...

  • W.O.W.(JOIN Papa7851,I am a big Fan of Kraftwerk since 1975)

  • Holy crap it's the HOly GRAIL!!!!!

  • This sound reminds me of Grunge.

  • wheres Ralf?

  • On studies.

  • @PutasZG oh..........

  • Ralf Hutter had left the band at the time. He and Florian had a falling out, which led to Florian continuing the band without Ralf for a short time. This lineup did one tour and recorded a studio album that was never released. Then Ralf came back, and Dinger and Rother went off to form Neu.

  • @Kohntarkosz I would do anything for that album XD

  • @lerxt42

He took a short break from Kraftwerk during 1971.
