This is a very bad error, but every goalkeeper, no matter how good, makes a bad mistake once in a while. If Polish fans weren't all total morons they would offer him support instead of making the poor guy feel worse than he already does. He had a spectacular season in the EPL for West Brom and was the hallmark of consistent excellence. I hope that he gets a chance to be Poland's #1 in the WC and redeem himself. The chances of an error like that happening again are slim and none.

I agree. I probably would have require a Rene Higueta style scorpion save to stop the ball after it bounce in a looping fashion, thats what decieved his judgement of the goal kick. A bit like a cricket ball delivery that gets more lift from being launch from a tall fast bowler.
