great song, favorite song ever... but its not the version from muppet treasure island. Its missing a line in the begging

"And these bucaneers drown their sins in rum, the devil himself would have to call them skum. Every man aboard would have killed his mate..." Then it picks up. This should fill in that gap... but its not there in this version XP still amazing love the drawings.

@mager56723 Most of the time, pirates carried something like four or five of them, loaded, on their person. And even then, they were made so that after you fired them you could hold them by the barrel and bludgeon someone with it.

In all firearms,even modern high powered cartridge rifles, a good rule of thumb is the larger the bore, the deeper the report. Most period pistols(flintlock muzzleloaders) were between .40 and .62 caliber(with a LOT of variation), they don't sound that deep. The shot at the end was a simulated cannon to give the sound more impact.
