What happens when you're a technician on the ground with a group of attackers circling? No style is the ultimate. Competition fighting and fighting for your life are not the same. Most wing-people do not like to hurt others or be hurt for money or a title/trophy. It is an art using martial movements to gain enlightenment. It is not about fighting...but when things are real it can be useful.

So your style is effective against itself. I understand that you guys don't want to publicly fight, but why just "put on a show" it seems like a waste of time. I understand the theory, but when you train against only one style of figthing, usually the fighter with the most skill will be the winner. What happens when you combat a style thats fundamentally superior to your own? What happens when your on the ground with someone who is a technician?
