srt4 side mount turbo

Im a welder and a fabricator, been thinking about making one, only things are, HEAT, and turbo lag, Whats you opinion?

We have the heat under control, turbo lag is based on turbo size more than it is manifold size.

If you are shooting for 600 + WHP this is a great option. If not, stick with the traditional turbo in the back set up.

@mikhailSRT4 Yes it does and we have a CC and new Koyo radiator in the car now, just had to make room for the new turbo (even bigger).

finally someone came out with an easier way too run bigger turbos instead of trying too cram it behind. i plan on buying this when it comes out with an borg warner s-360 or s-400sx turbo =)

I have had to stop 3 people from putting there finger inside the inlet to the turbo now. It would shred there fingers if they were to actually get one to the turbo.

This is by far the sickest fuckin setup i've ever seen for an SRT4!! Is that manifold available for sale? Mad Props, 4 thumbs up if possible! Check out mine I got a GTK450 SRT4

We are going to be building kits in the near future. Manifold, with downpipe and all the parts necessary to make the external wastegate and dump tube. Pretty much the kit you will need if you had just a turbo.

Wait till we get the hole in the hood cut for the new turbo. T362 with a 4" inlet. Should be all that and a bag of chips. I will post the new video when we have it ready.

Big turbo that is mounted off to the side. The stock location will not hold anything bigger then a 10" compressor cover.... this will.
