Coal provides me and my family with everything we need, and also provides about 270,000 jobs in the U.S. if you think unemployment is bad now shut down coal and see what happens to the economy. Also take a look at everything that is made out of coal I bet you would be surprised.

Poorly phrased, but his main point stands: that it is insane to talk about the economic costs of Global warming without taking into account the huge costs on human life that not tackling it will take. The increase in Global Conflict over water, the reduction in agricultural fertility worldwide, the destruction of ecosystems, the increase in famine, drought, flooding, and all the other problems changing weather patterns bring. There is no point growing your economy to an unsustainable level.
