Go Cristina Rad, sorry you had to put up with so many idiots on this show (and the ones who clap at retarded comebacks to your comments)! Down with religion!
I'm sick of religion entering the polictical debate when the Constitution clearly staes there is to be a seperation of Church and State. Something that with Fred Nile, the ACL and even other polticians is not happening.
It is true Atheism does require faith, The belief an atheist holds is though they dont have the truth at this time, They believe it will be shown to be proven at one point in our future through science and reason. Until theories become fact it will always be faith. If you dont believe it will be proven and still hold onto atheism on what grounds do you base your view ?
If you believe atheism will have all the answers; is it true that essentially man has the potential to be omniscient ?
@Roxika What is your definition of atheism because based on your comment it is clear that you don't know what your talking about. Let me spell it out for you genius. Atheism is nothing more than a lack of belief in a deity. We don't belief in god because we haven't seen any evidence for it it. It's no different than someone who claims to have been abducted by aliens and isn't believed because he cant prove his assertion. Does my non belief require faith? Do i just have to take his word for it?
@moh490234890238490 Theism just means the belief in a deity. But if you say your a christian it takes that belief further it provides a framework . You believe there is no god, but you must have a framework that builds your case. Is atheism fact ? Can it be proven ? Lack of belief is like someone saying I lack a belief in love I never experienced love therefore it is not real until I see it for myself. No framework = ignorance and thats why it has to be based on a world view .
@Roxika It's up to those who do believe in Gods, witches, demons, dolphin healing, moonstones, dowsing, creationism, thetans, homeopathy, etc ad infinitum... who have the burden of proof since they are the one's who assert the existence of something. It's funny how in any other context it works this way except when it comes to god. If you say something exist prove it and you have to do more then just simple say that science hasn't explained x.
@Roxika Your argument falls flat on its face due to the fact we can state correctly and objectively that "love" (depending on how you define it) exists. Whether or not God makes YOU feel better matters not in the scope of things whatsoever, because there is literally nothing suggesting to us that he exists. Emotional responses and effects explain nothing about the basic fundamentals of the state of existence.
"Atheism, like all religions, require [sic] an element of faith." - craigbatty
Really? So our legal system is based on faith when a judgement of "not guilty" is handed down?
Not believing in a deity or deities on account of a lack of compelling and convincing evidence does not require "faith". Believing in a deity or deities in spite of a lack of compelling and convincing evidence, on the other hand, does require "faith"
"Christians have been the forefront...against racism" (54:43-)
In the American civil war, the mostly Christian Confederacy used both testaments of the Bible to condone slavery. How? Well, God doesn't seem to be too fussed about it. It's not a sin to own a person, nor is it a sin to beat a 'servant' as long as the servant doesn't die (Exodus 21:20-21). In fact, the NT actually gives instructions on beating 'servants' based on whether or not they knowingly disobeyed their master (Luke 12:47-48)
they say love your bother, but you will catch it if you try. religious views contradict internal congregational beliefs and alternate external religious views. Good luck avoiding the contradictions at each and every turn, gay straight or in a coma. I argue religion is DEFINITELY a comatose hell-bound train-wreck for only the truly damned. Good luck and good riddance to them.

105,000 people homeless in Australia and the Australian Government spends $1,400,000 on cigarettes for refugees. DISGUSTING!!!
From 2002-03 to 2007-08 only 301 people came to Australia by boat
Then Labor changes the laws
From 2008-09 to 2010-11 more than 11,500 people came to Australia by boat.
All the stats (fully reference), not published by lazy journalists, are provided in my videos.
The question is .... "Which families come first?"

Looking at the work of christian missionaries in Africa, I can see they taught the locals how to kill the children "witches".
