In all honesty, Eminem is a fantastic rapper.

If you actually sit down and ready his lyrics, they are very clever are moving and most of all, he's passionate about them. you can clearly hear it in his voice.

I'm guessing you've not heard every style of rap music have you? There's American Rap, Hip-hop and all that... But if you listen to young American rappers none of them compare to young English MCs in the grime genre. I've heard some that I'd say have a much better flow than Eminem, and they don't chat as much shit. Grime is very much different in instrumentals and you can't be a grime MC unless you're underground and it doesn't matter how many sales you make cos it's not about being mainstream.

The character described as "cowardly kid" doesn't like to expose himself to others and reveal who he is as he feels vulnerable. I think it is to protect himself and to also shield revealing his weaknesses as he states "But I had to protect you from me" and .
