I purchased one of these, and while the commercial makes it appear that you might be able to paint on it, you can NOT. Watercolor beads up horribly, and the sheet becomes covered with small dots.
Also, erasing on this paper makes the yellow pigment coating come off. I wish the paper had been white to begin with.
Check what out? You didn't link anything. Skill helps, but shoddy materials don't do any favors. And the fact is if you paint on these, the paper doesn't absorb the paint right away. It beads up and slides around. I don't know about your style, but for what I want to do, that is the exact opposite of what I need from my sketchbook.
If you DO know some trick to make it work, please share. I like my moleskine. It's fine for drawing if you never erase or get it wet.

@ruphia Chech this out and after tell me you can not use watercolors on moleskine. You can but you have to be skilled.
