i hav a n95 8gb it really is the best piece of device ever until n97 came out. However if u compare it to iphone 3g its really more about ur preferences. iphone is good in its many downloaded applications, while the n95 is better in terms of hardware such as camera. In my opinion I dun really need the applications in iphone and i find the features on the n95 more than enough for my use.

I'm trying to decide between this and the N82. I'll either get a Xenon flash or a larger screen... a micro card or 3G in The States. I never remove my memory cards & rarely would I need 3G, so it comes down to Xenon flash or larger screen. Of course Xenon all affects pics taken in dark. Larger screen improves my web experience. ..but sliders sometimes have flex cable issues. You see my dilemma? Someone know of a tie-breaker?

I depends on what you need. If you are interested in multimedia functions you should buy LG Renoir. It has big touch screen (which is great), divx playback option, dolby surround system an a lot of other great multimedia fuctions. Frankly speaking N95 is very good phone. It has amazing functions but LG Renoir (I think) is better. If you could tell us what you need from the phone it will be easier to help you.

I think there is a rotate me future built in to the new 8gb but im not 100% sure. I saw this on a utube video but havent got a chance to test it cuz my phone is coming in Tommorow or the next day.

actually u dont need the rotateme 2.0, u have it in your phone as an option. u have to go in to

menu

tools

settings

general

adapt

--> display.

and there u will find "rotate screen" tab, press it and it will show u 2 options, 1. off, 2. automatic.

wifi should be WLAN scanning.

GPS should be in Nokia Maps.

If you can't find them, more than likely your n95 is a fake from china.

n95 8gb has better build quality, a bigger battery and twice the ram.

The 8gb memory is internal though and transfer speed via USB is very slow.

Since there is NO cardslot on the N95 8gb for expanding the memory a lot of people stick to the N95 classic if they frequently transfer large files as to do so with a micro sd and card adaptor is MUCH faster than the N95 8GB's cable method, and 8gb micro sd cards can be picked up now for a very small amount of money.

i dont belive so, but it depends on what you want, and what you use, i have the n95 8 gb, the cam is great, its fast, the battery is good, lasts about 3.5 days for me, its hard to use for the first day tho, the only thing i think is better about the n 96 is the GPS although i hardly use it on mine, but the head phone jack is on the top unlike the side on the 8gb
