Wow! that's why you are a hero and brave one. I could not suffer the pain and I got medicine to inject on my back. I did it for twice. I could not have my kid by nature way. Am I a coward?
@nhungtube1 Cutting the umbilical cord is not necessary at all, nor is "cleaning" anything-unless that's what you choose to do. There are great benefits to leaving a cord pulsing and alone until after the placenta is delivered or not at all (lotus birth). I don't need a doctor to tell my body what it already knows how to do! : )
@nhungtube1 every mother is a hero! : ) i truly believe that! no matter HOW you give birth, you are doing something miraculous and should be very proud of yourself! i just have had life altering births in the past that paved the way to how i choose to birth alone now. whatever makes you comfortable, THAT'S the right choice! : D
@GentrytravelTV I know a few people stationed there actually! There really shouldn't be a problem having a UC if you're in good health and are near an American post to register birth at! I had my first UC in germany, no midwife caring for me, etc, I had to pull some strings with the local birth registry but wasn't too hard to do once I found someone to translate for us-you can play the "oops happened to fast!" card! ; )
If I'm not mistaken your beautiful daughter was born with a Caul on her head. According to traditions, this is a sign of good luck and the child is destined for greatness!
@bowecho i don't know if it'd be considered full caul though as my waters DEFINITELY broke before i got in the pool again (took a break from the water), i think it was like they broke but the membranes stayed stuck in her hair, lol. would that be considered in the caul still? : )
@angelgregzion thank you very much! i agree, youtube can be so educational! it was my pleasure to continue to share (like all the mommas i watched before me!) that birth can be very safe and very peaceful.
Beautiful all the around! . You are a phenomenal bright sistar and I thank you for sharing your educational, inspiring light (this will give hope to many who are ready mentally and spiritually)!
@SuperEgyptiangoddess that is my biggest hope in all of this. there were so many wonderful women and mothers that i followed during this pregnancy and for my first UBAC, it only felt right to try and help someone else if i could, to see that they carry the power to have the birth they want. ; )
@BabyAvahAndJovanna congrats on your pending birth! : ) i wish you happy labor vibes and that you get the birth you're searching for. i'd love it if you shared your story after your little one arrives. good luck! : )
@ashleyjizzdale wow do you have kids? i feel sorry for them if you do! you don't know me or my love for my children, and yes i DO love them equally AND in different ways, because they are all unique. why on earth are you looking at birthing videos if you disagree with having children? that bored? seems like a very immature statement to me!
@ashleyjizzdale It's not the people who responsibly have children that are the problem. Problems arise when people have children and they are unable to care for them. I think you need to do a little bit more research. Also, I have many friends that have multiple children and I'm from a family of three children and you can absolutely love more than one child in the same way. They are part of you and you will love them no matter what.
what a beautiful video. I am very happy for you and wish you all the very best. I am also a young mother of 4. Unfortunately, because i had a pulminary embolism with my 3rd, i am not able to have a home birth. I never opted for this thoufgh because our hospital is too far away in case of emergency. I hope you live near one?
@SuperJude30 i'm sorry to hear of your health problems! i hope that you are doing well now. i've got a friend that has just gone through this and found out the same day she is pregnant as well. any advice for her? she too is a homebirther but is unsure now of her route...the nearest hospital is about 15 minutes away, but ambulance dispatch is less than 5. i've always advocated for following instincts and would head to the hospital if i thought anything was wrong!
@xxxNOIRxxx hey, how funny i didn't think my post went through. Thanks for the concern, i am fine thank G-D. Had my fourth without any problems a couple of years later( apart from becoming a bit of a nervous wreck before the birth).
@SuperJude30@xxxNOIRxxx .....The truth is, although i think home births are wonderful-and natural- that's how they used to do it right!?, i also believe that it is FAR more important to make sure you and your baby are safe. If your friend has already had a Pulminary Embolism, she will prob. need to be given blood thinners before labour as a precaution, and I would STRONGLY suggest that she makes sure she is in the hospital in good time( this doesn't mean she has to be tied to a bed though)!
@SuperJude30@xxxNOIRxxx lol THe blood thinner medicine wears off so they will need to keep an eye on her to make sure she delivers within the right time frame Again, her and her child's safety MUST ALWAYS come first! Lastly, in the end all my 4 babies were delivered within hospital walls- I don't regret it at all. Apart from my 2nd, i was in control and they all respected me and helped me along the way as apposed to pushing me to having unneccesary meds etc. Good luck x
@SuperJude30 thanks for the reply, i let my friend read your response, i hope it helps her make her birthing decisions. as of right now i'm planning again to have a 3rd UC, as everything seems to be going well. : ) i'm glad that you were treated respectfully in your hospital births, i have deeper issues with being there and would only go if my instincts told me to. i have had two in hospital, my first was actually a fine experience!
WOW...good job...really well done, actually was there a midwife or anyone to check the babys agpar scores present????I am acutally amazed, that you have 4 babies..already how old are they...you are so young....congratulations on your newest edition....unbelievabely well done....sincerst wishes....how long did the actual birth take??
@KathleenMeyers63 No there wasn't a midwife, it was completely unassisted,I had an unassisted pregnancy as well. I am young, 25, I have a just turned 4 year old girl, 2 year old boy, 1 year old girl and then Inara. I was in labor for 48 hours the pushing phase lasted about an hour as I was so exhausted by that point that I was having trouble getting the strength to push-it wasn't automatic like with my 3rd baby. Thanks for your well wishes! : )
@100rrh no, sorry, the audio is all jarbled between me, me talking to my husband, my kids calling us from their room, my mom talking, etc. lol and the song has meaning to my family and i. ; )
@xxxNOIRxxx oh I see. I liked the song. But I still prefer birth videos that include the real birth sounds. Even if there is a lot of talking lol! I hope you will upload the real sound if you do I'd be interested !
Thank you for sharing this beautiful birth!!! :) I have now a waterbirth baby too! He cried for 3 seconds when he was born and now he is 4months and practically never cried! It makes such a huge difference for babies how we give birth!!! :)) All the best to you!
I love the calm that happens with water birthed babies. So many people expect them to come into the world traumatic and upset... but water babies are so chillaxed! Looking forward to our next one. Black and white is really cool, might steal the idea! Thanks for sharing!
@TheEndeavoringFamily Very true! My last UC, my daughter was breathing well and very alert-just didn't cry! She was happy and calm because she entered very gently. Not all babies come out screaming their lungs out, if you treat them peacefully and gently they will come out that way too! : ) I've also found that both my water babies take very little to settle, and putting them in a bath makes them "go back" to a calm state.
@RebornJJzmamma Oh yes, I cut the video a little short because my mom, and my kids gathered around and it was a bit scattered. But I gently pulled mucus from her mouth with my fingers, and using a bulb just a bit on her nose, which caused her to sneeze and got a good amount out, a little more rubbing and coaxing and she let out a good loud cry. She actually was crying on the film, but just gently, even when fully cleared and pinked up she was very calm and serene after!
Wow! that's why you are a hero and brave one. I could not suffer the pain and I got medicine to inject on my back. I did it for twice. I could not have my kid by nature way. Am I a coward?
