I thought the debate was disappointing. Biden should have hammered Palin with statistics demonstrating the incredible flow of wealth to the top and the huge disparities in this country. They both talked about the middle class but I don't recall either mentioning the poor, except for Biden's reference to a bill providing health care for children - a bill that didn't pass.
I really don't think we should torture ourselves by even watching "the debates"--where all the questions will be softball, as well as the answers.
