@CWMaua12 If you believe that after Christ's death on the cross and after repenting of sins, man still has to 'earn' his way to salvation and eternal life, then I'm afraid you believe in a doctrine not taught by the Bible and the apostles. We only have to repent and ask forgiveness for our sins and place our faith in Jesus confessing with our mouth that He alone can save us from hell. Faith in Christ and in His redemptive work is our way to eternal life for He has already paid the price for us.

The blood of Jesus Christ redeemed all human beings from the fall of Adam and Eve forever, in other words, when Adam and Eve transgressed the law, disobeyed the law, it disconnected us from God Almighty, which means, no resurrection, but God Almighty loves us so much that He wants all mankind to be resurrected from the dead, so His grace is sending His Son Jesus to redeem us all from the dead, but personal sins, we have to endure to the end in order to earn eternal life.

@CWMaua12 I'm sorry but the bible doesn't teach that and I couldn't agree with you. Christ's death on the cross was atonement for all our sins past, present and future, it's a one-time only sacrifice meaning that the redemptive work is effective for forgiveness of sins and for eternal life. Faith in Jesus is the victory not only over physical death but also over spiritual death - the second death that separates the soul eternally from God. Read Romans 8:1, it's clear as daylight.

Hi, first of all, to be saved means you have confessed your sins to God directly and repented of a sinful lifestyle and have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior. Secondly, it means that you have gained eternal life and you go to heaven after death. It is a promise that God gives to those who put their trust and faith in Him and believe that He alone can save us from hell. I hope I was of any help to you.
