garmin is alot better than google maps I would get it is just $10

To be honest, the Garmin is nice but you can find directions just fine with Google Maps. It doesn't give you live updates as your drive or voice commands but you can step through. For example once you reach one road you can hit next to see where you're going next. It's only $10 more for the Garmin app but you might not use it enough to justify paying for it every month. Just know the Google Maps app will get the job done. I've used it in and out of town MANY times with no problems.

now see, Helio is doing the smart thing here, make a great phone, have an amazing plan,  and they dont shovel out crappy phone after phone, they have very nice phones and they Update them. If this was in cingular i guarentee by now there wood be an ocean 2, so kudos to you Helio

Sweeeeeet. I can't wait to get mine. I have to wait for my lameass Verizon contract to be up in March '08. Google Maps is awesome but I'm planning on paying the $10 a month for the Garmin app. My girlfriend and I go out of town a lot for vacation and having turn-by-turn voice commands is amazing. GPS, 3G network, Garmin navigation.... just a FEW things Apple didn't think about, but Helio did.

when you said they just added garmin, do you mean they added to download and do you have to pay for it or whatever? because on the helio website they try to say it comes with garmin but this is the first video where someone actually mentions it as a feature. Im trying to find everything out because i want to get a helio and that would require me to disconnect my line from my family's line and i want to make sure its koo before i hassle it. Good demo btw.
