Turbos on the other hand do not use power from your engine , at least not directly (not from the crank) and funnel the exhaust to spool up a turbine at over 100,000rpm they do not take any hp to operate, and they can creat much more power than a supercharger (in most cases) however they have to build their boost over time, so the engine has to be running at a certain rpm, so you do not get the instant power you do from a supercharger, thus you experience turbo lag... AND THATS THAT!!!
