So I was doing some research and it turns out that there was a very very rare limited edition soarer that was released in japan same engine as the SC400 1uz-fe V8 4.0

It was so expensive that only wealthy Japanese businessmen could really afford it. It had four wheel steering, touch screen tv navigation with a reverse camera( and this was in the 90s) and even touch turn signal control.....it also sported air bag suspension and other goodies lol

I got same kit and I'm running work equips 18x11 (+5 offset front) and 18x13.5 (+5 offset rear) they are right on the sweat spot. They don't look tucked in at all. But cant run the big caliper in the front. Like MK4 Turbo fronts.

i never said it was a supra and i talk from experience i happen to have several friends that switched to the soarer 5spd and used it with 6&700 hp 2jz setups !! And who the hell buys brand new transmissions for 10k if i want a 6 spd i can easily get one for $3500 !!! Btw the Soarer isn't just a luxury supra. It has smaller brake calipers, rotors, and rims. Worse transmission and lower displacement engine. Plus it's heavier.

Yeah, you could add them getting a 2JZ-GTE swapped, the 4 pot fronts + 2 pot rear brakes, bigger tires to clear them, and new transmission cost upwards 10k. And no, the Soarer transmission can't hardly handle 450BHP safety. And even getting a 700hp out of a 1JZ-GTE isn't nearly as practical as the 2JZ-GTE form the Supra.
