Tim Tebow Interview with Shannon Sharpe - 2011

If a guy with a speech impediment can get paid to talk on TV, why shouldn't someone who currently seems to run better than he passes be an NFL quarterback? The Broncos are going to the Super Bowl, for Jesus is using Tebow as an example to the U.S. of His Grace on those who trust Him.

Whenever Tebow speaks, he points to Jesus, his teammates & coaches. People hate Tebow because they hate Jesus, and they hate Jesus because they hate God. "He who rejects you, rejects Me." Messiah Jesus (Luke 10:16)

Tim said it right.....sharpe was a 7th round pick....HE had his critics....to small to be a TE....to big to be a WR. Yet he revolutionized the position. He took his skills and GOD given talents and made it work. HELLO??????? Tim is just doin what he can, with what he has. He is THE starting QB for the Broncos. Keep winning Tebow.

Tebow was very calm, kind and collected during this interview, taking every blow that Sharpe throws at him and when he answers Sharpe's attacks, he does so very well and in a non defensive way. Sharpe is just being rude, judgmental and he is attacking Fox, Bailey and Tebow. Sharpe, I know you don't believe in Tebow, but do you have to be such a rude interviewer? Tebow, you have a lot of people behind you that believe in you and support you. We are so proud of you!

How is he an ass? By not sucking up to him and thus making a boring interview that is not worth watching? Think of if he said "You are great Tebow, you are the best, the lord Jesus Christ and you will go on to win many championships."  Not only is that corny as hell and sound unrealistic, but it would be a boring ass interview. I applaud Shannon for the questions he gave and his attitude. I like Tebow too btw. ( :

@CheddarBob39 Personally, I like Tebow, but I was happy he held his feet to the fire on the last question. I get tired of athletes and coaches using premeditated answers - a la Bull Durham - and not answering the question that was asked. I thought Tebow came off well and that Sharpe came off as someone tough. It's rubbed some people the wrong way, but I think that's okay, too. Can't wait to see Tebow at Minnesota this week. Jared Allen better be ready to run all over that field.

As a Vikings fan I am interested in it as well. lol. Although I could care less if the 2-whatever Vikings win or lose the game. I kind of want the broncos to win because the Vikings season is over and I am rooting for Tebow(not really the broncos, but Tebow who happens to play for the broncos.)
