  • im a gymnast and if i get hurt i dont care i just suck up cause im not gonna let a bruse get in the way, im used 2 it

  • what i like about this is that every time they fell they stood up and finished it. Because as gymnast that is what we have to do. I am a gymnast and i know exactly what they are going through. Its tough but it is all worth it in the end!

  • If anybody ever tried to hold my leg up against my face, they better never let go because they're gonna get a swift kick to the nuts

  • omg i can totally relate to thi$ gymna$tic$ i$ very hard!! but i enjoy it very much!! ive been doing it $ence 3 and im 12 for 9 year$ and i hope to continue for a very long time and ye$ it can be very very hard and fru$terating! but we mu$t alway$ $tay $trong!!! <3

  • what level do you have to be to be an elite

  • @gymnasticsskills there are ten levels, then you have the option to go elite.

  • wy was te gurl suurrounded by people

  • what song is this?

  • Even though i dont always want to go to practice, and am sick of my coaches yelling, and i just want to have a normal life i still love gymnastics deep down inside hahah..btw im in level 8

  • hi i am a level 6 gymnast and no how hard it is but my friend from the gym is a level 9 gymnast and she defently nos cuz she has a back brase and she hit her back off the bar and flew off and now she is really hurt i feel bad for her but there is also a level 10 at the gym that got a scholarship to pitt but didnt go....... to hurt so ya AND NO BODY BUT GYMNAST NO HOW IT FEELS CUZ DANCE IS ALSON HARD cuz i do dance for gymnastics so duz my whole gymnaastics team!!!!!!!!!! GO HIGHLANDERS!!!!!

  • i am a level 9 gymnast and i do understand why everyone thinks their coaches push them to hard,or dont think that what you are doing is good enough, but i do understand that when a coach pushes you its because they see your potential and when they tell its not good enough its because they know you can do better. i have times where i literally want to punch my coach in the face because of the things she tells me,but just remember your coach probably knows you better than you do..i know mine does.

  • What song and who sings it help please

  • @AshleyakaFlipper from about 0:34, the CNN thing starts, i see it a lot in montages and stuff and i really want to know what it is and where i can watch it... is it a realoty show, or...? awesome video!

  • I do gymnastics they're making me train for a competition I have next year! They push is really hard we have to strengthen for an hour everyday it seems everything I do is not good enough for my coach!

  • @thexfreyax I know exactly how you feel.. i compete level 8 and our coach never thinks anything is good

  • Everything is hard :(

  • @gymdork163410 agreed i dont really know how they even hurt themselfs.....i eman gymnastics and cheerleading is really hard with pain we break are necks,we break are arms, are legs, are noes, are ears, get are head cracked and a broken back,:( it hurts you know...Gymnast really have to face pain and gymnasts. No offence football players but we have to go in the air litterly

  • holy sht.. 3:19 has bulging abs. i workout at least 10 times a week nd i still don't hav anything near tht. hhaahaa

  • I'm sick and tired of all the perverts who sexualize young female gymnasts! Get the F out of here!!! These gymnasts work very hard to build a strong body, it's not for your sexual fantasies!!!

  • I think that gym, cheer and swimming are the most physically grueling sports! I hate when boys think they are awesome athletes because they have football five hours a week when we swimmers or gymnasts or dancers train for 20+ hours per week!

  • @xnicholasjerryjonas acro dancers work even harder! especially when youre in 10 hours of contortion training per week ALONG with 15+ hours of actual dance practice. (my life story)

  • At 0:30 it looks like their pushing that girls legs to far...is she okay because it looks painfull..they never do that at my gymnastics

  • @gymdork163410 I am a male gymnast and I totally get you It's true !

  • does anyone know who the chick is at minute 1:40 ?!

  • @sweettoothsammy123 Yes, that is my girlfriend, so stop checking out her body!

  • @ikillmofos LOL your a fuckin dumb ass. i like dick k bro. ahaha .. i think she is good.. faggot.

  • what's with the jailbird?

  • I <3 Gymnastics!!!!!!!

    It is so my life!!!!

"Gymnastics is LIFE the rest is all details" :)

  • @gymdork163410 I totaly agree! gymnastics is wayy harder than football, i'm 16 and i played football since i were 7y old til i got 14, at that point i found football kinda boring. I'm totaly into gymnastics, I asked my mom if I could start on that after i quitted football, she laughed at me and said "sure"(ironi of course!) I guess she laughed because I am a boy...

but anyways i'm starting at swimming soon and I find that cool aswell, got a lot of respect for the gymnastics tho, it's hard!!

  • @gymdork163410 ur are just a pissed bitch arent you

  • gymnastic's is REALLy frusterating......

  • I still have to strech like that at gym. Real just points 0:30 - 0:36. We dont like hurting each other but it makes us better

  • @gymdork163410 Theres different levels of gymnastics+cheerleading, most of the ones you see in person arent anything like this... football there is no level.

  • @SoCoMzXeLiTe You think Gymnastics is so easy don't you, well think I have been doing gymnastics almost my whole life it kills. If I mess up on a hard skill I could either get hurt really bad/killed. I have dedicated my life to this sport, at the age of 9 I have doing at least 20 hours a week in the gym for team practice not counting school and my extra practices. I never took a day off if I was hurt or on vaca I was still in the gym. I have played football too, but cheer & gym seems harder.

  • @greeneyes12346 Like I said, 'most' performances you would see as an average person wouldn't be anything fascinating as you are describing it as hard to be, I was mainly replying to gymdork163410's comment saying cheer leading is in fact harder then football, but in terms of high school the most you would see coming from the cheer leaders are well timed claps, motivational words and cheering, I'm not saying cheer leading is easy... that's why I said there are 'different levels' of gym+cheer.

  • @SoCoMzXeLiTe school cheer has stunts that is hard for them girls to do but i hate school cheer and it isn't really mega hard being in that case school cheer is not quit as hard as football i know this because i have done both school, comp cheer and football

  • who is that girl they show first?

  • u dont understandind why gymnasts and cheerleaders keep comparing the hardnes in every sport. I mean everybody knows that cheerleading and gymnastic is damn hard to do!

  • I am not a gymnast. I am a swimmer. But I can totally see myself in this video. In EVERYONE'S life there is just this phase where you doubt why are doing it and want to quit. Becasue quitting is easier... and if you lucky to be tough and manage to stick through you will be forever happy to have done so. Good luck to all athletes out there!

  • I nearly broke my back on Monday at gym, but I'm still gonna keep going. It's the best sport I've ever done.

  • @gymdork163410

Probly because every time 2 football players smash into each other, it generates the same force as a car crash? Linemen smash into each other every play. Try getting hit by a car 80 times a game? You will be in the hospital, or dead. Football players live on avg 30 years shorter than other athletes, tell me where doing gymnastics takes 30 years of your life away? Gymnastics are tough, collision sports are tougher, sorry. Rugby, Martial Arts, Football the deadly triangle.

  • @gymdork163410

  • @gymdork163410 Diving Might be equally hard. But it's just a personal opinion.

  • i need an opinion im scared now but i still wanna do gymnastics

  • Ok yess i agree gymnastics is hard and so is football and cheerleading but just to set the record straight all sports take dedication. I do dance and soccer and yes they may not involve doing flips off cliffs or being peppy and being able to tackle someone but still doing all sports take a lot of dedication and practice plus they are each different so you cant really compare them! :)

  • @gymdork163410 You think falling off a bar or something onto a mat hurts? Try getting hit by a 6 foot 10 inch 380 pound wall running at 20 miles an hour then you can claim that gymnastics is the hardest sport

  • @me8825 You think Gymnastics is so easy don't you, well think I have been doing gymnastics almost my whole life it kills. If I mess up on a hard skill I could either get hurt really bad/killed. • @greeneyes12346

Im talking about sports science journal articles, test, and objective based research done on sports, not subjective opinions of "I do it, it's hard, so it's harder"

Fighting and Football are the toughest sports out there, because the physical trauma done to the body in those 2 areas of sport, are not comparable to any other sport.

Is Gymnastics tough? Hell yea it is! Unfortunately your bodies are not subjected to blunt force trauma enough to kill people, on a daily basis.

  • @me8825 Yeah football is hard, but Gymnastics kills. You see thousands of football players, but how many elite gymnasts do you see. I have been doing elite hours since I was 9 years old and still played football. guess what sport I got hurt more in. GYMNASTICS!!!!!!!! Oh and if you not know I am a girl who plays hard but flips harded.

  • ajohnson9011

Oviously u don't do gymnastics because gymnastics clearly uses all of your body gymnasts have to be tight in everything they do why do u think they are so muscular they use there leg muscles especially for vault and floor and stomach and back muscles are used in every skill how do u think we control our body and positioning

  • I think all sports are hard , swimming is hard , dance is hard , gymnastics is hard , horse back riding is hard , soccer is hard , even music is hard sometimes!

  • @tootiemcfruity I'm only good at Dance,Soccer, Swimming, Music and playing the Guitar even that's hard.

  • @muffinman1234567891 I do Dance , Horseback riding , Gymnastics , And Musisc. My brother does soccer.

  • @tootiemcfruity nothings really hard unless you dont practice i think soccer is easy but then again i play soccer, i can do a couple flips from gymnastics and swimming im good atbasketball too, and dancing freestyle all u got to do is practive it may be hard at first but after a week or so and u get used to what ur suposed to do its really simple just get ur mind set for a certain sport set

  • @5033481boy That funny , I free style/ lyrical dance too! LOL

  • @5033481boy nooo gymnastics isnt easy no matter how long youve done it for! it takes alot of determination and skill!

  • @gymdork163410 welll i would like to say ive done both and yes gym and cheer are hard but not as hard as football u just say that because u havent tried it u dont really know how hard is football

  • Dude spot on with this video. Gymnastics is a sport the requires mental and physical strength. You just gotta get back up, and try again. Like when ill fell off beam at regionals, i stood and concentrated, then got back up. I got first on beam!!! Believe in yourself girls! Prove that gymnastics is the BEST sport.

  • @TarzanFira thanks :)

  • i have always wanted to try gymnastics i can do some hard tricks on my tramp but i have never really done gymnastics i can do the splits forward and side but i had to teach myself no one taught me anything i know except me and i am proud to be doing these tricks that could kill people

  • @gymdork163410 nah bodybuilding is the hardest... gymnasts train and go home and eat rarther healthily.... bodybuilders spend 24hours a day to there sport ..... thats dedication

  • @rugbyking32 You think Gymnastics is so easy don't you, well think I have been doing gymnastics almost my whole life it kills. If I mess up on a hard skill I could either hurt myself really bad or could kill myself. I have dedicated my whole life to a sport that is hard, at the age of 9 I have doing at least 20 hours a week in the gym for team practice not counting school and my extra gym/cond. classes. I never took a day off if I was hurt I would still be in the gym working, vaca in the gym.

  • @greeneyes12346 i never said it was easy i try it every now and then and i enjoy it and it is difficult but it aint my sport.... im just saying that bodybuilding they are more into there sport than gymnastics...... though as hard as gymnastics is it aint the hardest around

  • @rugbyking32 ok well I have seen my coach who is a bodybuilding person and I am just like her. So get the fact right please.

  • @greeneyes12346 her? and is she a pro bodybuilder... doubt it im taking about the top bodybuilders..... telling me to get my facts right? what you going to do eh make me.

  • @rugbyking32 yes there is GIRL PRO BODYBUILDERS she was top in her division. Take your dinky prissey butt back to your not hard sport of track did i tell ya i also run track and more I do a lot of sports and extra activites. :)

  • @greeneyes12346 so what if i do track? i don't take it serious i take rugby serious.... thats why i got trials to my county i train most days of the week and i often end up injured ..... today i was walking round on crutches...... i know people who are 12 who are paralyzed i have also paralyzed people ..... so why don't you take your fat fucking ass back to ur webcam shows with 20 views got that.... fuckk off fat bitch

  • IF GYMNASTICS WERE EASY IT WOULD BE CALLED FOOTBALL.

  • i wish i had the strength to do gymnastics.

gymnastics is a really hard sport.

id like to to see other sports try to endure the conditioning and pain gymnasts go through. i know i wouldnt last 10 minutes.

  • @gymdork163410 what an ignorant comment

  • i have this awesome jumper which says " If gymnastics was easy they'd call it football!!" I love gymnastics and i love competing i compete at regional level!! x

  • Im 13 and I do gymnastics and started competing at age 7 and it is hard and it is dangerous but if you just did that part of will in you all the time then you can do it. I have cried before and chucked stuff around. Cheerleading I also agree is also very hard because of the tumbling :)

  • what song is this?? x i ve been doing gymnastics for all my life (so 12 yrs) was in british team until i messed up in 1 competition and lost my place, thats how heartbreaking it is, if you messs up you ve blown it, and it takes alot to pick yourself back up again!

  • what song is this?? xx

  • @cheer4eva990 cheerleading is nothing compared to gymnastic. cuz it mental and pyshcal stress. ur hardest stunt or flip is like a level 5 or 6 skill and they arent hard at all really. i practice like 20 hrs. a week when i did gymnastics and i was only a level 6 almost 7and they kicked our butts hard. cuzz my gym wanted to be the best. and like half of the practice was conditioning

  • my bro is 12 and hes beeing doing competition around 9 or 10 there was times that he arrived home from practices and start crying, and tossing all his stuff around and yeeling how usless he was... but now he sais that his love and passion for these sport is so big that he loved every single sec of it..... he inspires me I´m 17..

  • @Cheer4eva990 you forgot vault

  • that looks like toture but its not i compleatly understand i had to do that stuff when i was four and last year i broke a bone at a nintey deegree angle doing a backhand spring i almost cried watching this

  • Damn some of those girls are buff

  • :(

  • @livelikewoa1 the smaller the better :)

  • does height matter in gymnastics?... can you be 5'4" and still be a power gymnast?..................

  • @livelikewoe1 i think most gymnasts are 5'3 and under but im not sure

  • @livelikewoe1 it's harder, but you can be. Still, being 5'4 means that it would be a lot easier just to add artistry too.

  • @livelikewoe1 I am only 5 feet tall and I am one of the more powerful gymnasts at my gym.

  • when they cryed it was so sad i mean they really hurt there selves like the gilr who got carried away

  • when you joing gymnastic do you have to start at a young age?

  • @missbubbles122 i started at 13

  • this s made me cry im a gymnast its hard we sacrafic alot

  • @luluvip98 its Nicole Harris she was in the Parkettes documentary

  • in 0:06 who is she ?

  • @luluvip98 nicole harris.

  • I was about to be picked to train at the AIS, the coaches said I might go to the 2016 olympics, then I broke my arm. It was heart breaking, and watching this video brings back my memories of my gymnastics life so much.........

  • It takes hearts and lots of self encouragements too. I was a champanion myself. 2 years in a row.

  • i am SICK and tired of fricken people thinking that all star cheer is the same as school cheer its not! i understand how you feel but i ment the moves not the entire sport. ok bye

  • @octillogurl I do all star cheer it's hard because I never have done cheer & was thrown on a level 4/5 team & having to learn how to stunt, but only maybe like 5 hours a week this week we had 8-10 hours. gymnastics is still over 20 hours a week not counting school & cheer plus comps. I don't get to go out with friends much. Right now I have hurt ankles/knee/elbow/back from cheer, for halloween I will probably have to be in my wheelchair because I don't think I could walk for to long after cheer.

  • @ ecfcheer214 and @ tesco1234567891 The girl is Andreea Raducan was the AA champion at the Sydney Olympics until they found out that before competition she had taken a cold medicine like Sudafed that (she trusting her team's doctor unknowingly) contained a banned substance, so they stripped her of her medal :-( a complete injustice to her.

  • 9 years of gymnastics[: i amm only 12, but i understand thiss.. cuz its my lifeee! & i love it & ofcouse its hard at times but somtimes you gotta learn to suck it up thats life! Xx

  • What happened at 2:51???

  • @ecfcheer214 I was curious about that myself.

  • @sooka39 kinda scared me! lol

  • why @2:51 that girl got surrounded by police officers or somthing?

  • i just watch these vids for the tricks :P

  • @zouzounakiiilol it's fun but can be hard to fit into school work.

  • when i wanted to join gymnastics... my mom told me she did gymnastics for a long time and like my age... she told me she went to competitions... she said that they streched like that and she said she did a bunch of flips... in a competition she failed and fell and didnt win so she started crying... she said that her mom was like "honey you still did it.. you still are strong and gorgeous! if you loose dosent mean your bad! look how many flips you did! that was gorgeous! every gymnast falls."

  • Where did you get all this footage?

  • what song is this??

  • Pretty good. Cept all the crying

  • @darkness0111 So what if gymnasts have no tits? Gymnasts try to put off going through puberty for as long as possible. Otherwise, they gain weight and their balance is thrown off, because their centre of gravity will have changed...

  • I understand the pain and sadness, of getting hurt or messing up. but that happens in any sport. I'm not a gymnastist and im notgoing to critizie because that was amazing. But this viseo didnt show any ofthe happyness or the pure fun of doing a sport and dont say gymnastics isn't fun cuz even though its work upon work its still fun.

  • @0313Brooke I would say it's fun to train. But as I see it, the coaches were not encouraging, they were more like commanding. I dunno, but that would make me give up on doing what I do anyway.

  • @0313Brooke this is what its like tho. its fun if you really truly love it but when you are unsure just a little bit your life turns to hell. just saying from experance.

  • no tits

  • I understand how paintful they make it. When i used to do gymnastics, they used to hold your leg in the spilt poitision. It hurts. Bad. But, if you really want to become great, you have to take the pain.

  • i used to gymnastics but i quit becuase my coaches were assholes

  • @colourfulowl um I have gymnastics 40 hours a week k

  • @TetherBallChronicles oh my god....so long ???

  • @toontown4everable hi! I'm an elite gymnast. lv1 is super easy, but you will be taking it with little kids!! that's ok, you'll advance quickly. gymnastics is fun but can be hard at the same time. good luck!

  • OMG! I think that Carly Patterson was in this video, and she is one of my favorite gymnasts!

  • im gonna be in gymnastics this summer and u am kinda scared some 1 comments me back if it fun on level 1 when u first get therer and also tell me how hard it is

  • All sports come with injury. I do taekwondo, train 8 hours a week plus at home every night. If you enjoy something, then you don't mind the pain I guess. I constantly have bruised legs and feet, but it doesn't bother me.

  • @Dollypoprawks um .... gymnastics is waaaay harder so like no kbye

  • @Kacie691 Actually the point I was making is that it's worth it if you can take the pain. And until you've done both sports at a competitive level you can't say which is harder, and even then different people are naturally better at different things. So STFU.

  • wow i know that its hard but i never knew it was like that

  • song name?!?!?

  • i've only done gym when i was 6 and i did cheerleading since i was 7 and im 11 now and yesterday was the first day of gymnastics and it was way harder than what if ever done in cheerleadin i still like both

  • I've only done a bit of gymnastics when i was 6 , but i was a cheerleader for 4 years and yesterday was the first day i started gym again and it was way harder than cheerleading to me of course

  • Love gymnastics cus it's so close to dance. ballet is as hardcore pushing as gymnastics.

  • how do you make these montages? i really want to make one but idk how aha

  • i am 13 years old...can i start gymnastics now??? i love it...please somenone tell me...thanks

  • @zouzounakiiilol i just started at 14 so i dont see why not :-)

  • @ThePlanetchild thank you... it was difficult for you to start now?

  • @zouzounakiiilol it was more difficult because i hadnt had as much time to build up strength and skills but if youre motivated and really love the sport youll catch up quicker than you think

  • @ThePlanetchild i love it very much but my parents dont let me to go because they tell that i am big now and these children start at six ...bla bla bla ......To sum up, they dont let me to go .......what can i tell them ????? please tell me your opinion

  • @zouzounakiiilol hmm.thats a tricky one.personally,i would tell them(very politely) the benifits of being healthy and active, that its not mandatory to start at a young age to love it and keep fit, also you might try learning a few simple skills like roundoffs and cartwheels just to show them it isnt too late.also,if you have ever done dance, that makes starting late a LOT easier

  • @ThePlanetchild thnk very much i will try to talk them ...........but sure they wont let me because i do championship in volleyball .... but i WANT it very much. pffffff... .... I am very disappointed :'(((( .... i want to cry ...

  • @zouzounakiiilol Yes, I just started and I'm 13

  • @JulietSniperVlogs its difficult for you???? i am from greece so if i do some mistakes at english excuse me ...(:

  • @zouzounakiiilol Yes it's sort of difficult. I had never done a handstand or a cartwheel, which is one of our skills. You will probably never go to the olymoics ):

  • @JulietSniperVlogs i do a perfect handstannd and carwheels and backwalkovers ...but i dont go to gymnastics because i understand that i am old now for gymnastics and i do volleyball chmpionships...but i llove gymnastics .. :(

  • @zouzounakiiilol You can still do gymastics, if you learn fast you might be able to catch up with your class.

  • @JulietSniperVlogsgymnastics will help me with volleybalil ?? but i am to tall for gymnastics . i am 1.73...but i want too much to goo ...

  • @zouzounakiiilol Mabey, I know it'll help with jumping. You might not be to tall...

  • @JulietSniperVlogs thanks you very much you helped me very much ..thank you again ...you can send me a personal message to talk because i want to ask some questions please

  • @zouzounakiiilol Your welcome!!! I messaged you!

  • @zouzounakiiilol You can still do gymnastics, have fun with it, If you really love it you could still do it! But ya, I know the feeling I started way to late as well, but have fun with it

  • dude your acting like coaches are horrible people

  • @WiGGinspotting they can be.

  • i understand why she is crying because gymnastics isn't always easy but my coach always tells me to push myself and to suck it up :)

  • @summergirl1909 they train the girls hard because without hard training they won't get better. You have to work hard but still have a little fun and kindness in between. But training hard will make them better.

  • i think this elite program is training their girls to hard thats why there always crying! and i dont think the coaches dont even care

  • where are these clips from?

  • a no ma ya quisiera yo caer un mortal atras bien y estamn repelando de dobles a no ma

  • I'm a gymnast and people told me that it was really easy but when I started it wasn't but now iv been doing it 4 a couple yrs and it's still hard iv fallen soo many times and hurt myself and sometimes people tell me that I fall because I'm not good enough and they don't even go through the pain I do

  • this made me cry i have been in cheerleading for 8 years now i completly understand

  • @octillogurl um .. gymnastics is way harder kbye

  • @Kacie691 i can understand that its just im the most improved on my team and i understand because everything in cheer is just like this its just changed a little and just because im not in gymnastics doesnt mean i cant understand what you guys go through

  • @octillogurl you honestly still have no idea. cheerleading is NOTHING compared to elite gymnastics! you go and train 8 hours a day 5 days a week like we do, and give your life away to this sport. then you will understand.

  • @xxSoAwesomeItHurtsxx you know what i do i spend all my extra time in the gym practicing even when im not supposed to be there and my entire life is cheer. My gym just recently shut down and when i found out i cried for 3 hours non-stop so once you go through what i go through youll understand what this sport means to me. k bye

  • @octillogurl back when i started gymnastics i spent around 4 years in this one gym and the ppl there were like my family, but it also had to shut down. you know what i did? i didnt waste my time crying, i sucked it up, got off my ass, and found an even better gym that im currently at today.

  • @xxSoAwesomeItHurtsxx the problem is that they were the best gym nobody beatus and everyone got along nobody fought and theres no need to fight over somehing stupid like this i understand how hard you guys work and how amazing you guys are but theres no need to be a jerk about it ive been in cheer since i was 4 and recently this year i went from a level 2 to alevel 4 in a matter of a week and yes the levels work differently the highest level in cheer is 6 so you can be quiet k bye

  • its hard to have work so hard and at the end to fail

  • no matter how hard it is keep trying

  • gymnastics isn't a sport where youre just gunna be like, i have nothing else better to do so ill do gymnastics, its something you have to really work at.............trust me it takes a long time to be able to get or do certain moves. You have to LUV the sport and be able to take all of the pressure and broken bones you get. if anybody says gymnastics is an easy sport or a girly sport tell them to watch this video

  • What's the name of the song?

  • @cookie6424 judges don't judge you on perfection. They judge you on your skills, strength and flexibility.

  • i miss gymnastics</3.

i cant wait to start again. its so hard, but its the most amazing thing ever. and gymnastics and softball are my passion. im not good at anything else but those things. but, i hate meets. the judges judge you on how perfect you not, but perfection doesnt excist. So, why chase it?

  • I wish I could do gymnastics:( I do horseback riding which is a lot harder than you would think because horses are about 1500 pounds with brains smaller than ours, are easily scared and don't actually want to do what you tell them, but gymnastics just looks like the ultimate challenge.

  • 0:53 - 0:56 :(

  • I'm scAred I might fall off And hurt anywhere :( I wanna do gymnastics but I don't wanna do the compotion

  • @gabbiedoglover11 its competiition and gymnastics or that u can still get hurt
