I figured it wouldn't be very innovative. you really don't have to be very good to play bass in most bands..unfortunate for those of us who can jam and still have jobs.
good bass players are sought after by bands. Anyone can play a simple-ass rhythm, but knowing how to make bass lines, play at any pace, and add style takes skill and practice. a good bassist will enhance almost any band significantly.
I've never been impressed by any solo by Glover, well, this maybe is an exception. Sounds nice, too bad that it starts just several bars before solo, in my opinion it would be better to hear the bridge to solo completely to be more 'prepared' for listening the solo itself. Thank you for subscribing!
Check out the bass solo he did for Jon Lord on "Gemini Suite", which was orchestral. Unmmmh...considering this was the mid 70's, it was AWESOME. Well before Billy (Sheehan) and the type. Sorry, Roger was well ahead of his time, just underappreciated.
Hmmm...A giant of classic rock, or you, an anonymous poster on Youtube with nothing of value to give or offer. I take Glover, thank you. And, BTW, Wooten would never be as disrespectful as you were.
AWESOME!

What?! Have you heard the solo in "Pictures of Home"?
It's a bit short, but it's nothing less than glorious.
