As for the comment about the group not being as good currently, Tsunku believes it is because none of the members are really well recognized for their individual personalities and styles like they were back in the day, so allegedly, the group will be moving back in a direction with cultivates and expresses each girl's unique talents and personality.

Apparently in Japan, the fan base is primarily men in their 30's give or take a bit in the decade before and after.

As an addition to what I said prior, it's hard for the general public (I guess also in Japan) to recognize each individual girl, whereas the group itself is immediately recognized, almost like a staple. Morning Musume has been around since 1997 (Which makes it 12-13 years strong.) if I remember right.

I like Sakura Gumi better tahn Otome Gumi. Idk about the crowd though, it looked like they were at some soccer field and you only hear crowds "cheer" like that AT soccer fields. Pretty funny when the crowd gets loud when Mari sings at 1:12 . =)

Yeahhh! Back then, like in the golden age of Momusu with many great former members, the thing that made them popular imo was that EVERY member really had something to offer. Like Yossie with her unique style, Mari with her "flare" and etc.

But now, Momusu is only focusing on like two of the "most popular" members (Ai&Reina) To me, the group seems to be lacking 'talent' I guess, but idk what it is, but they're just not as cutesy as they were before. Know what I mean?

They're not lypsynching......the video and audio are just so slightly off. The first three singers, Aichan, Aibon and Mari are all very good singers. As a matter of fact, they ALL sound good on this......

Have you ever tried dancing and singing? Or even running and singing? This is some time out in the concert, and they would probably sound out of breath if they didn't. It's still awesome.

Actually, performers (specifically in this case singers who also dance) are trained to control their breath while singing songs and dancing. Sometimes MM members will pause or slow in dancing while singing for this reason, other times they can continue dancing.

Try it yourself, depending on your fitness level is likely to depend on how long you can maintain yourself for.
