One of the nice things about science is that it is not dogmatic, and it can be improved as new evidence and theories arise. When you consider what we spend on global warming research (is it about 2 billion/year?) and then consider that we spend 12 billion/month in Iraq, what's the big deal? He made the mistake of believing in the company that bought his patent, but that company sold it to the Shell Company and he is still the only one I know that does not need gas (but uses garbage instead) to fuel his car.

When I attended junior high every one was sure that we were going into an ice age. In the year 2000 all the oil will be gone and there will be starving in the USA. One of the nice things about science is that it is not dogmatic, and it can be improved as new evidence and theories arise. This explains why the predictions (which are not scientific but are based on science) have changed since you were in middle school (40 years ago).

When you consider what we spend on global warming research (is it about 2 billion/year?) and then consider that we spend 12 billion/month in Iraq, what's the big deal? There is no global warming on Mars. Mars got regular dust storms at 2001, 2004 and now 2007 and has nothing to do with the sun. Check the sunspot numbers at NASA and Maxwell Institute.
