  • those look nice. i wish i were a celebrity

  • Crunchers alone wont get you a ripped 6 pack.

  • Don anybody do these? did it work? can i just use a book instead of that? LOL

  • @ItsGeorgina1 Did not work for me.

  • I am 19 and Im about 6'0 tall and my weight is about 168 (if not more).

As far as I know I've had 6 pac abs since kindergarten, but I dont do exercises or anything. I played soccer 4 years ago but not anymore since. How come I still have abs? I mean I have friends who is smaller than me and skinnier than me too but they dont have it?

  • You need to lower your back all the way down again when repeating. Also, lifting your legs gives you the best workout.

For more info about the crunch workout, check out: youtube.com/watch?v=2pCjxbRbjVk

  • the girl at the end is hot

  • @AdorkableAlly

shes sarah after the work out hahaha :))

  • what a dumb video.. somebody pls let them know...

  • sarah, you have to have great abs, show them to us sometime. stop covering them up! great armpits too!

  • is this definitely safe? i find it can put pressure on my neck

  • is this definitely safe? i find its puts pressure on my neck

  • How long will it take?

  • Nothing special about them, + it really puts alot of pressure on your spine. For the daredevil in you,try 50 Cent's personal trainer,Jay Cardio,ab workout routine, that is sick & effective

  • Thanks for the video. You're right, this is a good workout for the abs.

  • This was incredible, i found the ;; DIETASYPESO , COM and losed 15 KG in just 2 weeks. That was good !

  • Crap...

  • Who care how a "celebrity" does anything !

  • I'm not celebrity so I'm not allowed to do these.

These are so bad for your back.

  • @stockguy911 Yeah and what works fine for other may not make results to other.

  • @MsShade77 True but they are not good for the lower back no matter who you are.

  • It's more difficult if the load is hold by the neck

  • havin dumbell behind your head is more effective..

  • why dont we go all the way up !

  • you'll find it very hard to sit all the way up but the reason being is that when we do the primary mover becomes our hip flexors. So in an exercise where we are trying to isolate and work the abs we need to raise our selfs up by crunching the spine, not from the hips.

  • Doing that exercise you do not go all the way up bkz you will hurt your back. It isn't neccessary to go all the way up bkz the essence in building stomach muscle is when you engage your muscle by going half way up.

  • because it is more effective

  • the dumbbell should be behind the head

if that is too hard then you should be doing these with the hands behind the head until you have enough strength for using dumbbells during crunches

  • that doesn't help

  • shes hot!

  • ab exercises dont work, especially if you have a lot of fat around the stomach. I feel my abs all toned and tightened, but you cant see it, so i just give up!

  • so you need to start the other part of tryin to eat healthy and doin a lil bit more movement(an extra run or something like that) :)

  • lazybabyz, eat better and do cardio. People think crunches and situps will make them lose weight, and that's so false. Proper nutrition and exercise will reveal the hard work you've done.

  • I agree with laformuleun. Along with crunches do cardio to burn fat

  • u need cardio with your ab exercises for it to work!

  • you need to lose fat while doing them. u need a low body fat to shine out. doenst work if ur fat ^^

having a belly kinda hides the abs u know.

    lose weight and keep training.

  • is this for upper or lower abs?

  • Seems to be for both.

  • This video had some pretty good tips.

  • you should try to do more running if u want a nice set of abs. Because your stomach muscles could be hidden by layers of fat and crunches are not that good at burning away those calories. Jumping rope is also and effective way to get rid of that flab.

  • Nice addition to the traditional crunch. Some people say crunches dont work, personally for me they have but only when i do alot, obviously. Anyways awesome video. I was wondering if there was anymore effective movements for the abs?

  • nelly should sue...and shes a real slut

  • that can really hurt your back don't try it please

  • ..the form used is terrible, bad video...

  • Yeah, when doing crunches you should not bend ure necka at all. you should keep ure neck parallel with your spine. Instead of looking forward over ure body you should be looking straight up almost!!!!

  • crunches are a waste of ure time, u r better off doing other exercies. it takes a long time to see the effects of doing crunches. They also increase the chance of back injury and work more on ure lower abs and barely at all on ure upper abs. so u will become uneven

  • Yeah, I agree that crunches hurt your back, that's only if you're doing them wrong though. Don't bend your spine, just lift your head up with your body. You're neck shouldn't move.

  • I will try this 3 times a week and tell u guys how long it takes to see the results

    ;-D

  • you gotta do more than crunches 3x a week to see results. you need and intense work out, consisting of exercises that build your heart rate and leave you out of breath for about a half hour or and hour. continuously and never resting. dont waste your time with just crunches your will never see results. if you need help just send a message i will have a routine that u can follow.

  • It would be very nice of you if you could share that routine with me. I want to get a 6 pack but not lose any muscle by doing allot of cardio.

  • I would love to see that routine also!

  • me too

  • I need help check out my video on my page "How long does it take to get six pack abs" an tell me do i have a thick layer of fat to start my ab exercises

  • I'm looking for women that will punch me in the face and beat the crap out of me.

  • I like this modification. I have a hard time fold my arms because i am large chested and usually just hold my arms straight out, fingers pointed, but this can work nicely for me too.

  • This is so cool but I don't have dumbbells.

    What can I do?

    Can diethealth reply asap?

  • Perhaps a medicine ball, a book (hold it vertically) or anything else.

I think the point is stability and not using your arms to pull yourself up - so anything else you hold can work to keep you using your abs to do the work.

  • you could fill up a drink bottle with sand or flour...or whatever. =]

  • Always inpirational to watch!

  • did you say Brittany spears? Or am I just hearing things.

  • Good work as usual.

  • Wow, that looks hard!

  • It's hard on your back.

It's better for your overall body, plus a better workout if you use a Pilates ball...

Excercise ball, balance ball, whatever you want to call it.

It impacts more muscles yet doesn't strain any of your lower back muscles.

  • Good job with the tags for the weight, now there will be no more questions/ guessing.

  • who gives a shit if its celebrity favorite exercise

  • hahahaha "Nelly's favorite ab exercise"

  • I couldn't contain my laughter either when Stephen told me the "celebrity", it's still a good exercise though!

  • I don't get it. Why is that funny?

  • because it's so random. It almost as random as if they said it was my mom's favorite ab exercise. it's just cute-funny

  • Great !!
