i don't go to stores anymore because all my favorite stores are gone. they had a chilled out atmosphere unlike walmart and target.

Ohh god thats so creepy I still have that same VHS cabinet. I miss when Kmart's looked like that with the old logo and the arches in front, the low ceilings and yellow lighting inside. They all changed in the early 90's. Walmart has killed all the old dept stores now tho of course

And the snack bars..the only one I ever remember going to in the Boston area had a snack bar that had some sort of yellow and red punch always bubbling. I miss the way the looked as a kid too, but by the early 90s they started to look pretty dated, dank, and dirty.

YES!!!!! I miss that old logo K, at least Chicago Suburbs (which where I live) still got bunch of old dept stores, with others at old "Venture" stores. They even still got bunch of 'em like the one on video.

There is still a Kmart near me that looks like the one in this video too, it doesnt have the arches in front but it still has the 80's logo on front of the building and its an extremely tiny store in a plaza that is abandoned except for it. It's in South Burlington, Vermont. I took a bunch of pictures of it but youtube doesnt allow links

The inside of the store is all updated and everything, but from the outside it looks like you are straight in the 80's still

Still 80's Logo? are u serious? Man you are lucky.  My kmarts that look like the video one with arches has the brand new (red word) logo, then colored the arches red, looks nice tho better than "Big K logo" I never liked that design from 1997.

I would like some picture copies if it LOL!!!!!!
