My god, where is the feeling?? this is an andante. It's one of Beethoven's profoundly lyrical slow movements. It should be hymn-like and serene. He's turned it into into a jolly little dance.
However, each variation brings something new, and playing it too fast as this guy does, it is impossible to appreciate the variation of feeling that would otherwise exist.

this cane be seen as variations on an original theme by Beethoven. Of course, within a sonata form.

Good tempo. Most play it a bit slow and since the basic structure doesn't really change at all throughout the movement, it seems to drag on forever.
