terrible refereeing, even if he doesn't see the elbow, even if he doesn't see that the tackle is high, if a player is out cold on the floor then you need to stop the game for an injury and get the man off

Morley had been dishing out dirty shots all game. He'd already fucked McCormack with a cowardly cheap shot,late and off the ball. If he gives it, he has to expect to take it. The whole Wigan team was after retribution and Cassidy delivered it.
Morley is a legend, but not the cheap shot aspect of his game.

that hit was awesome and epic. Rugby League players are the ultimate tough guys. Never seen Morley dropped like that but then again he only played over here in Australia for a few years.

"one of the most disgraceful moments in rugby league" There was nothing disgraceful about it, Adrian Morley is one of the dirtiest players in rugby league and I can't think of a player more deserving of a elbow to the face. What Morley did to Robbie Mc Cormack at the start of the game was far worse, hitting the smallest man on the field high with a swinging arm when he didn't even have the ball in his hands in a premeditated action to take him out the game Cassidy just deals out some retribution
