Not arguing here, but maybe these people who compare this song to Elvis is because Elvis also did a cover of this song in 1956 - and yes, the original song is by Little Richard. Perhaps they were comparing Elvis's version to Queen's.

It's almost as if they're saying that everything is about Presley so if Presley records a cover, the song is suddenly remembered on account of him, not Richard. The fact is that although Presley had a radiant stage presence, he never wrote a single song for himself.

That is Queen's unsung hero Spike Edney! If it wasn't for him, wow what would Queen's live shows be like? STILL AWESOME THAT'S WHAT! LOL!

Montreal '81 was the last time Queen performed with only the 4 members. After that Spike came along, he was even at Live Aid! He did the keyboards and you know all the other stuff. He also helped Freddie focus on the singing and moving around, so he wouldn't be stuck on the piano the whole time.

Spike was with Queen as on stage keyboard player from 84 until they stopped touring. He then joined Rogers 2nd band the Cross before heading off on tour with Brian May on his solo venture. Spike then started The SAS Band (still going now) & was on the recent Queen & Paul Rodgers tours. He also has a lot to do with the Nelson Mandela concerts of recent years, most recently the one in New York. He might not be too famous but he gets about a bit!! He is lovely too!
