Without the violins this theme song has less impact. I missed the violins in between the phrases of this song, the bell that rings as Jean Gray is being introduced and the violins that play as Gambit flips over his staff (toward the end of the theme). Very nice rendition, though. I gave it a "Like".

You know, if the extra sound effects were added into audio - when they use their powers, the clang/'electric sizzle' bit at the end, laser fire/explosion and such - you would be amazed as to how alike it is to the real deal. The cover track itself definitely feels like the closest to the original opening imo. Great work.

Thankfully, I thought that X2: X-Men United did a splendid job, though I can't say the same for the first movie and certainly not for X-Men: The Last Stand or Wolverine Origins. X3 tried to cover the Dark Phoenix saga, the Omegas, the introduction of Juggernaut and the death of Charles Xavier in a mere 100 minutes, and they failed miserably. It was just as bad as Spiderman 3.

Yeah Rogue can fly. You see this is directly based off the comic which was nothing like the movie continuity. Rogue adsorbed Ms. Marvel when she fought against her when Rogue was a member of the Brotherhood which was being lead at the time by Mystique. You see that's what happens when she holds on too long, she adsorbs the person's powers completely, which gave her the power to fly and super strength.
