Weird thing happened at the end.

I killed the boomer on the right and the hole opened and locust came out, but the timer didn't start. I picked them all off leaving the first boomer, then the timer started and I ran like hell past the 3rd boomer.

one the hardest part in the whole game. i have never beat this part without dieing mult-times. i mean i can beat Act 1 on hardcore without dieing once, yet i can't beat act 4 on casual without dieing. 2 boomers and a e-hole between you and the apc.

and if you don't move fast enough the brumak will destroy the apc forcing you to reload to last checkpoint.

The first 2 are easy headshots with boltok... and the last ones you can sprint past.. something im good at from gears of war 2 multiplayer ;)

Uhh, Just kill the boomer on the right, Then run to the right and over the wall then kill the other and full on sprint to the end :) Thats what i did :D

@MetalMusicOfficial I found it a bit cheesy but simply to scoot around the 2 boomers and then haul ass to the APC, dodging everyone. However if the timer doesn't start till after you kill the two boomers then a couple of shotgun shots to the head and then a clip or two (each) from your main gun should bring them down. I usually wait till they say 'Boom' and then dodge the missiles. Then running like mad after that should get you through.

u don't really need the torque bow at the beginning of this mission, u only need the torque bow for the boomers. just kill the theron guards fast at first then get their torque bows. reserve the torque bows for the boomers, its hard to miss because they don't really move everytime. then kill the boomer at the last part and just sprint at the sides so you won't get caught in the middle.

I came all the way solo on insane to the part at the end of this section, and it sucks if you die, because it sends you back to the part where you have to blow up the propane tank to open the door, which isn't hard but still annoying to redo. I finally beat it though, and yes it does take luck to make it to the APC lol. Thanks for posting the vid it helped me on that part.. I gotta beat act 5 now.

Yeah i just beat this whole game on Insane. The hardest part of the game is when you have to defend the central room in the house on this level. It took me a few days with about playing of 3 hours each day and usually just gave up for my immense frustration.

I find the better thing to do is wait by the door when the frag it then when marcus says here they come throw two frags usually kills 2-3 of them instantly then only two more come out. and if you do it that way one cowers and dosent even come out and you have to leave the area and go and blast him away behind the wine barrels in the cellar.

It seems to me that no matter how many grubs I kill outside that the same number get inside. If this is so then there's no reason to waste ammo shooting out the window? Does anyone know for sure?
