Kudos to 30DC for doing this. I've traveled around the world extensively - mostly in SE Asia - and am amazed at the entrepreneurial spirit I see. Kids don't get an education unless it gets funded somehow, rarely is it funded by the government and there are few jobs, so if you want money you pretty much need to go out and make it on your own. Kiva is awesome.

Kiva: fact, BBC show on Kiva-- profiled a Kenyan bizwoman funding 2 guys skateboard firm in LA. BBC embarrassed that the loans were flowing that way. They were urged to get her on their board. She knew her stuff. How well would you do in areas without good infrastructure, where gov'ts hadn't been giving good education. And she made it $2 mil worth. Kiva helps small Rumanian biz also.

Help to women (stats show) goes right to kids education.  They can buy your silly products. Think.
