nice review, dan brown is one of my fav authors as well. At the end you mention the last supper; the arch at the bottom of the fresco was a doorway make by monks in 1652, then later resealed.

Interesting, I played the game on PS2 and I had no problems with the controls. I'm really sorry if it killed your playing pleasure, 'cause I simply loved the game. I don't care about the action sequences (which did get quite boring to say the least) but the puzzles and the overall atmosphere of the game was a jackpot. Some of the puzzles were actually hard! I also liked the movie, but I think that was because I'd seen it before I'd read the book.

they had to cut stuff out; the movie alone with stuff cut out was already 2 and a half hours! They had no choice.

Plus, the books are always better than the movies, but to me, the movie still kicked major major ass.

Angels and Demons was an Abortion on the big screen. I was really pissed off! this game does my head in too the puzzles were fun but i found it easier to control a 3 legged cart horse, I cant even finish the cryptex in westminster after sophie says her bit, the game speed x1000 and i cant even turn the cryptex, Fucking abortion thats all i can say!

@gaaraanime5 I agree. The movie is awesome. Although it does miss some of the book, it didn't do nearly as bad a Angels and Demons. The only way to think THAT is a good movie is to completely forget the book and think of it as a completely different concept.

I muss confess, this game for the PS2 is actually what caused me to read the book in the first place. Is it as good as the book? I think that's an unrealistic standard. It was mediocre at best, but the PS2 controls made up for a lot of the poor control decisions. Then again, I don't really ever buy games for the PC unless that's the only medium they are made for because of such problems as you mentioned. Anyway, yeah, the PS2 version wasn't all that bad. the ending was not really "completely different" I read the book and liked the movie a lot too because it was pretty much the same. The only thing you miss are the characters thoughts, which make a lot of things make more sense.

I have to say that im not the biggest fan of Dan Brown... I find his work to be badly writen, plus the content that the da vinci code was based on was taken from Holy Blood Holy Grail, an earlier book.

Never the less, this was a great review! I totaly agree with you on this game, it fucking sucks... And as for the puzzels... fuck this, I'd rather play silent hill for those...
