....but when you spend time on the altar or prayer closet and sit there and truly ask GOD from your heart for forgiveness and deliverance then yes. Some people don't have to get up there and fall out just for deliverance it's just a matter of where you are with God, that's my input...what do you all think???
I understand where Bishop is coming from and I know it's a word from GOD, maybe the wording wasn't so clear but Holiness is the same, Jesus is the same (Hebrews 13:8), only we as people change, so instead of changing the standards of Holiness we need to change to the standards of Holiness. Does it take slobbing, running, rolling on the altar, etc. to receive the Holy Ghost, sometimes because some people are SO deep in sin that the simple forgive me just won't help because it's not from the heart
Long gone are the days of the "Hold On - Whoop and Hollar" sermons, this "generation" ,while appreciating the former ways of the body of Christ, seeks more. We have sifted the legalism out of the "Holiness" church - we realize that it's not about the length of the skirts you wear, the lack of make up on the face, or the length of a man's hair - it's about seeking, first, the Kingdom of God and. passionately, preaching Christ - instead of, man-made, Legalism. "Let not others despise thy youth..."
This "generation" does not know anything about the Holy Ghost? I find that thesis statement to be "off". The Bishop didn't say that this generation doesn't have to Holy Ghost, but that it doesn't know about the Holy Ghost....Which is odd, considering the Holy Ghost, or the manifestation of God's spirit, won't dwell in a vessel without imparting wisdom. If anything, with the abundance of, secularly, educated Christians this "generation" may be better versed in what the Spirit says
@Lfishlynn The full length DVD is sold at Mt. Sinai Cathedral Church. Sorry I don't Have enough room to post. The DVD's are real cheap. Thank you for your comment.
