I don't know what the hell some of your all's problems are with in the st. anger album. to love this album, you can't compare it to their older stuff. youll just get dissapointed in it everytime you think of it. youve got to think of it in a personal way, because the whole band was going through a rough time(especially james) and that's where the anger on this album comes from. if you ask me, it's got to be one of the most raw, angry, ass kicking albums of all time.

i don't think the album was terrible. i think it had potential. i think every metallica album was good in it's own way. maybe not in the heaviest, classical puppets sort of style of metallica, but they all have their moments. indeed though, i will say metallica's style has changed a lot and i do like their earliest stuff the most.
