I liked the little Japanese reading, it gave me a nice little challenge, although I couldn't understand the "miss you a lot" with "少し。。。". I need to brush up on my Japanese :)

Yeah, I changed it a bit to make the translation less awkward. "It's a little lonely being apart from everyone" is a better translation for that Japanese part. But in English the same sentiment can be conveyed with "I miss you." I just added "A lot." because I needed more room to finish the Japanese sentence. ;)

Also if you'll notice, the song part isn't a direct translation either ;) It's just a similar meaning with a less awkward sentence.

Thanks. Luckily I have experience, this is my 4th Christmas in Japan. I'll tough it out like a champ. It is hard though, I really would have liked to have seen my family. Hopefully they'll come visit me in March!
