  • Haha! So funny! ^_^

I see a lot of different opinions out there, but please don't make judgements before you know just what it is that you're judging! I can honestly say that USANA is one of the best things that's ever happened to my family. We all had incredible improvements in our health after trying the products, so when we noticed that our friends needed to improve their health, we couldn't help but tell them about it too! Making full-time income working part-time is just an extra bonus!=)

  • usana does work but you got to work hard like people that build a company from ground up it takes a lot of dedication and motivation...its really hard to stay in cause you dont see results right away and may not see it for a while when you start. I know for a fact cause i have a friend that went in 6 years ago, used to drive a crappy car and now driving $80,000 bens going on cruses traveled the world. 6 years hard work making more than a doctor and doctors need 8 plus years of schooling more.

  • I have to laugh at the negative comments on here. It seems that people have no idea about this business. I can honestly say that when I joined up people were telling me that it's a scam and I will lose everything, but i'm actually making money and I really enjoy doing it. And now, the same people that told me that im joining a scam, are now saying that Im the one scamming people.... I wouldn't be successful at it if it was a scam. You people need to actually take a proper look at this business.

  • usana is evil because they expect you to come up with money before getting paid, your margins are way too small unless you meet some low intelligence people with tons of money to throw away.

  • Mate, if you could show me a business that you could start with no money spent before you make any money I would be impressed.

  • The problem with USANA is the products are unjustifiably overpriced and no one wants to buy them. 90% of sales are to Distributors who have to purchase $100+ worth of inventory every 4 weeks to remain commission qualified. A number of these Distributors then turn around and sell their unused product on eBay showing just how highly they really think of USANA supplements. They probably go down to the store with the tiny sum they get back from eBay and buy better vitamins, LOL!!!!!

  • Most people think that way, but i recommend you to understand what is network marketing, and u will understand why u need to invest like all type of business in order to gain money.

  • im already join the usana and many prospect and i ahve people that interested they are many ican recruit a lot of poeple under me but i have feeling doubted to sig them up

and they expected me too much i dont what they well blame me in the future. the people say scam are you saying to your self.

  • i can relate to that, but don't feel any doubt to sign them up. its not your weakness that will fail your downlines, but your downlines themselves. when you sign people up, make sure to have as much contact with them, and encourage them. USANA is a great business, and the only reason why people fail is that: they are too lazy and don't do any work expecting money to just come to them, or they expect too much for little work. this business does take time and effort, but it will pay off eventually

  • I'm from Philippines, i like very much usana is very interesting, and Good marketing plan, study it and follow the usana rules and conditions, you will be open hope for the future and make your family proud and change your life, even the usana is not launch here in Philippines, i study usana 2 months even usana is not here. I'm waiting for usana, you can catch me on my skype: loyotan911 and my mobile +639093867033. God bless you all and advance merry Christmas.

  • dude... they will destroy your LIFE... they will rip you off bigtime... and you will probably end up living on the street.

  • Don't fall for Usana scam.. They are unsuccessful in the United States since The FRAUD DISCOVERY INSTITUTE, ruined there stock, and their name..

    watch?v=91UW5JMcyFc&feature=related

    watch youtube video

  • dont join this stupid cult. they arent even a real company, its mlm bullshit, its so hilarious what kind of wackos join this crap! if u goto one of their meetings these guys sound like freakin robots, oh and to even get into their occult like scheme, you have to pay 1000 dollars for their stupid package.hahahaha yeah right, if someone offers you usana, i suggest you call them evil and run VERY FAR!!! ps usana sucks my left ball sack

  • Comment removed

  • looks like propaganda to me.

why is it at their meetings they try to sell you their life style rather than their company? "this could be you! 20 years old and buying a house." i'm sorry, but if the "director" or whatever he wants to call himself is my boss I couldn't give a rat's ass about his personal life. that's so unprofessional.

  • It's advertising designed to educate and inform. Most people have commonly asked questions, which warrants common responses. It's not a conspiracy.

  • Its a scam, and its pathetic that our country even allows this to go on.

No way are any of the 'meetings' education, its manipulation. They say things like 'make sacrifices' and 'this is a communion of us', this product is a 'testament' etc.. to manipulate those who are more religious. They also flaunt the concept of 'wealth' and 'independence'. How many regular retail business' do this to hire you? None. Whose hiring? No one.. Only MLMs. Because they grow on recruits not on product sales.

  • sounds too good to be true, if this happens then why isnt everyone else is doing it as well?

  • coz not everyone listens

  • What sounds too good to be true? You get what you pay for? Many supplements on the market fail simple disintegration tests, and the integrity of the product degrades during actual production. You might as well swallow gravel.

  • wow that is quite the gas station, a big bright white room with nothing in sight. I've never seen one like that. Has anyone else i wonder how much gas costs there in bright white land? I hate how expensive it is on planet earth

  • hm sounds like someone likes pain killers a little too much?? lol kidding.

  • I am wearing my new braces and my mouth is KILLLLLLLING me. Does usana have pain killers. mwhahah just kidding. ouch though i hate this

  • typical response scottsjayjay. Ray looks hot and sweaty in that suit and tie. I can't believe some men actually wear full suits during the summer. Then they take off their jackets and the shirt underneath is soaking wet under the arms.

  • I"m going to go out on a limb here and say it's safe to assume i DO NOT want to see that dance. Maybe if it's a hot chick. yeah a hot chick singing and dancing abotu money. Sign me up budd

  • I think I'd like to see that dance.

  • that's hilarious!!!!!!! he totally does look rdj. Maybe he should be a body double or his double on films. i bet he could make a lot of money doing something like that. money money money money....MOOOONEY. Hm maybe I should make up a dance to that song and record it as my video response.

  • pshhh she isn't hot. She is plain jane. borre snore. Is it just me or does the guy in the video response look like Robert Downey Junior?? Come on ladies you know you agree with me.

  • Man that hot babe driving that hot car. She must be making bookoo bucks with usana to afford that. sign me up I could use some cash in my pocket. I'm not much of a salesman though

  • I use a 486>>> my parents wont buy me a new computer. Whats an Apple? I like oranges my self. HAHAHA yeah right you think I dont know??? No way jose

  • I have a mac so it's so easy to record stuff off the built in camera. What kind of computers are you guys trying to record on? This one has a little editing program on it so I can cut and paste it too. I love it.

  • are you guys being serious? You don't know how to post a video response?? Are you 5 years old? sorry a bit harsh but come on!!!! it's freaking YOUTUBE!!!

  • yeah you can just post any of your videos off your page I think and then any downloaded ones have on your computer or whatever. email me and maybe I can help over IM or something

  • How do you do a video response do you guys know?? I don't have a webcam on my computer, can I just upload one off of like my videocamera or something? I think personal video responses are hilarious.

  • that video response is so funny

  • creepyville. You guys are being serious? Man if Ray is "hot" then I am Brad pitt

  • Oh you girls, calm yourselves down. Ray is probably married with 10 kids but I am sure he is flattered. Flattery gets you anywhere these days. Right people.

  • yeah ray is totally hot hahahaha. Give me 5 years and I'll be knocking his door, or usanas door to find out where he lives. yikes that sounds like a stalker. I'm kidding ray, don't get a restraining order on me okay? lol.

  • Ray is a stuuuuuuuud. Wowey, if I pulled up to him at the gas station in that hotrod I would melt into a million pieces. Just kidding.

  • Hey nothing is wrong with being 12 or 15. I can still talk trash and back it up. lol

  • Woah woah woah such hostility on this messageboard. Come on boys, calm down. For all we know you are 12 year old's on daddy's computer talking crap to eachother, not grown men.

  • The time is upon us to do the right thing my friends. We have to stand up to the forces that would rather us be damned to the levels below the surface. Can we all just make it work out between us? I think that we can. Let's just do it. Can we

  • Anyway that is a nice way to talk to people, you guys. Why don't you guy go and hang out at the park, and walk your dogs together? That would be cute. That might be more fun.

  • HAHAHA what are you talking about looser. Whatever!

  • Oh yeah that is what a couch potato would say! I am amazed that you are even typing on the computer and not sitting in front of the computer. I am not even going to acknowledge your existence. Take that.

  • You know what; maybe I should go out side and kick your ass. Maybe that way you wouldn't talk so much crap. Maybe you should come over and I can tell you what you can do with your outdoors and your comments.

  • But... we all watch. You say it's a joke but you know what is going on so maybe the jokes on you! You are the big fat joke, cause you talk crap and then you actually watch it. Maybe you should spend sometime outside and stay off the TV.

  • Yeah the NBA is a big joke, the east is horrible and the west just dominates. Next year the first 2 picks go to the west and they will get the best 2 players in the draft. That is ony going to make the whole league a joke. You cant even have competitive games.

  • Yeah bait and switch is always a tactic used and it no one is immune from it on you tube either. So that is that. What about Cleveland? That team sucks, or is San Antonio that good? I think that SA is just that much better. Utah played them pretty good though.

  • Its like someone saying that you are going to see a movie with Brad Pitt in it and then when you get in there the movie is a documentary on Wolves. HAHA that would be a total joke if you get there and you paid for one movie and got another. But unfortunately that is what happens in life.

  • I know, that is so dumb, what are they trying to achieve, people won't want to see their stuff again if they dupe them to begin with. I wouldn't, if I click on something that is supposed to be something else and it isn't I won't bother. That is just plain screwing with the system.

  • Yeah if you are a programmer you could create something. But isn't that something that Youtube should put up? I mean they are promoting the most watched videos, right now> most of them are XXX porn keyword driven. I think that is a bad thing to promote these types. They aren't even really porn or XXX, they are just people tagging the vid with those just so they get seen.

  • I don't think there is anything. You should create it. If you know how to program. I wonder if that could be done easily. Probably not; nothing is easy. Always take twice as long as you think it will and costs more.

  • So true. But it also has good. I think that the videos on Youtube can show the issues that are in the world, like dogs being killed in Korea and China for food, they aren't just killed, they are tortured and cooked alive etc. That stuff is just flat out wrong. I also wouldn't want my son or daughter looking at that stuff.

  • Yeah that is the biggest problem these days is that people can say anything and the company or person they are attacking has no knowledge that these things are being said. I guess you can sue, but then if you do, it almost acknowledges that the stuff being said is true. How twisted the world.

  • Yea, I have seen videos about fraud at banks, product companies selling stuff that is bad and that the company is doing nothing to remedy the issue. These companies have no idea what is being said about them and they have no way of defending themselves.

  • That happens all the time with people, they make comments with no intelligence. The problem these days with people like that is, they can make unfettered comments and say bad things in an open environment without the oversight of people who know. These guys can post anything and say anything.

  • This is a good way to start the conversation of about Usana, to go for the good stuff about them. It is a pretty upstanding deal. The plan is good and the products are better. A friend of mine uses Usana and is not a rep. He likes the stuff just cuase of the results. I hate hearing these people say bad things about something they don't understand.

  • I got started in Usana a few years ago and it helped me stay on target, they actually hav a pretty good social network to keep you involved at all times in the process. I really like the way they have a strategy for success.

  • I guess that is true. Some of my friends never start anything, so they have zero chance of finishing. I guess at least I am half way there. I have gotten better of course. I used to start a project and literally not even 10% the way through I would finish.

  • Yeah I think that you are not alone in that, a lot of people don't finish what they start. I think as time goes by you mature and that goes away, you are able to be more grounded and get things done. Done worry it will happen. The bright side is that you start things.

  • It is a test of the mind and body to do these things, pushing yourself to the limit. Like getting high degrees in University or running long distances. It makes you are stronger person to accomplish what you have started. I am not one who has always finish what I started.

  • Yeah I ran a marathon, you should do it. A century is crazy, that is a long way on a bike or anything. You;ve all driven a 100 miles, it takes a while to drive that let alone ride it. Can you imagine? But of course a marathon is a long distance too.

  • Ok whatever dude... You are a new ager if I ever saw one. Lets try this again. Has anyone run a marathon? I am thinking about it. I have never rode a century either, that is 100 miles on a bike in one day, that seems nuts to me. I could have done it as a kid.

  • I am trying philosophizing, you should try it. Speaking as if you are making no sense is a good way to open up your heart to the real words that want to come out. It allows your internal breath to be released. You can only do so by trying to improve the access to your inner being.

  • What in the world is this guy talking about? Does anyone know what planet this guy is on? That stuff sounds like total rambling. You never know how perfect you are... what the hell. You are nuts...!!!

  • If you are an athlete then you are one of the right people to try and improve their health. KFC is not a good thing to eat, if you are healthy f you know what I mean. You are never as young as you were the day before.

  • To say that it is easy to just get away you will not know that it is perfect to move on. You can do it and learn but you have to try and sell the idea first. You will never know the difference until you try harder at it. Trying harder is often a good sign of perseverance in life.

  • To say that it is easy to just get away you will not know that it is perfect to move on. You can do it and learn but you have to try and sell the idea first. You will never know the difference until you try harder at it. Trying harder is often a good sign of perseverance in life.

  • Stormy, There is a saying that says that if you don't know what you want you wont know how to get it. That seems so funny to me, of course if don't know what you want you cant get it. How can you get something that you don't know about???

  • I cant stand American cars, I would rather drive a Japanese car, they look better, they get better gas mileage and last longer. The service is better too. I just don't get it. Companies like Toyota and Honda have been recruiting American designers for years, how do the American companies let these talented designers go?

  • Yeah it is all about money for them. What do they do when they start loosing market share? They go running to the president and ask for concessions. Like that is going to help them be competitive in the long run. They did that back in the early 70s they asked for concessions and they got them. They didn't help cause they asked for more time and got it. It wasn't until like the late 80s that they were cut off. Now the Japanese car makres are kicking our butts.

  • Yeah I can see gsa going up to like $5.00 and then I will ride my bike every where. It is ridiculous. It isn't like the car makers didn't know that this was happening, they could have planned to make better cars with better mileage. The Japanese have done it. What is wrong with American makers?

  • I can see where that may be true. If you have tons of something you normally then waste it. If you have a limited supply you tend to be more judicious about how you use it. That is the way it is with oil etc. If gas is cheap then you drive a lot, cars have low gas mileage etc. When it is expensive, you tend to conserve, and cars are made with better mileage.

  • Real time blogs are cool, they allow people to let everyone know what is going on, the only issue it the limited character space. Some people think it is good to have contraints. It makes you think more about what you are doing if you are limited to a certain number of space, money etc.

  • Wouldn't it be great if someone came up with a mobile text messaging thing where people cold immediately rant or rave about a movie, restaurant etc.? that way people could immediately know if something is worth the money. But off course there is no money in letting people know something sucks so no one will back that sort of communication device.

  • That is so funny, I see that happing for sure. I see these commercials for movies and they make it seem like such a great movie, but then you see it and it is no good. But everyone goes cause it has like one known actor and the trailers are so good. The movie sucks but word doesn't travel that fast.

  • HAHAHA! I have family who works in the film industry and that is exactly how it works. It is all about perception. Have you every heard "Perception is reality"? I think that saying is so true. There is so much of it in the world. You have to have hype to get people into the move, that is why the movies do very well the first weekend or 2 and then they fall off a ton... People figure out through word of mouth that the thing sucked!!!

  • They always do that, leave people hanging, they make a big deal out of the unknown. That is how they sell so many damn books, then they make a movie for the rest of the world who doesn't read the book. The kids want to see it and then the parents have to take them so they make more money by making it that way.

  • Yeah I probably will. I have read them all, the plot really gets me and I want to know what happens to Harry. I think he might be killed off, that would really suck. But it may happen. The author said it was a possibility but she didn't say one way of the other.

  • Is it coming out? I had no idea. Are you one of those people who stay outside waiting in line to get a copy? I see that every time in London and I think that is nuts. Waiting for a book??? I don't get it

  • Yeah it has been hot and humid here. I live in the south and it is always that way. So it makes it tough to relax outside in the summer. So I do things inside. Like read. Reading takes me a way to another place, it really helps. The new Harry Potter is coming out soon and I cant wait that will be a good couple weeks worth of after work reading.

  • I like to do cross word puzzles, it sounds crazy but it is true. It helps me. I like sodoku too! That is great fun. I like to take walks too. Swimming isn't the best but it can be nice in the heat of summer. It has been so hot lately... I guess it is better than the humidity that we could have.

  • The last time I went to the store I bought a ton of vegetables and made some really good stew with carrots and celery, potatoes, corn and peas, I added meat too. It was really good. I felt great cause I made it my self and it wasn't full of fat and salt etc.

  • This is true, I have had several occasions where I was unable to get well until I changed my attitude. It really helped. I also think that vitamins can have a good affect on the body.

  • I don't think so; I think that if it does make a psychological impact it may even be better than a physiological one. The fact remains that if someone thinks they are healthy, they will be more healthy. You know it is like mind over matter

  • Along came a vitamin that could save the world and the masses took it. It did wonders but it made the masses think harder about life. Why would this little pill make them feel better? Maybe the fact that it is good thoughts and eating better and exercise that made the difference, the pull basically enabled the masses to realize that they needed to be more healthy. Is that bad?

  • i saw it too, yeah it was good. i love the way that George and Brad play off each other. the writing is good of them. I wonder if they will have an Oceans 14.

  • The new Oceans if pretty good. I have heard that some people think that it takes too long to get going, but I think that it just takes time to set up the movie story. Overall it was good. But I like that type of movie.

  • True that. Man I mean it, we are all victims of capitalism. The never ending game. Of BS. Go to college, go in debt, work your rear off to pay the bills. The never ending cycle, till you die. Tru tru tru...

  • Yeah this day and age you have to get a degree, and most the time if you are going to work for someone else, you need a damn masters degree. What the hell just more ays to stay a consumer, with debt, debt keeps people in the game of consumerism, they have to keep working to pay their bills, they need clothes to be in the game at their jobs. So they have to keep buying and then they make the minimum payments and never pay their bills off.

  • Yeah like those people who play basket ball and think they will make it in the NBA. What the hell. What like 1 in a million make it. What are the other 999,999 doing? Robbing banks? Hahahaha

  • Poor jock boys, they are probably at the bttom of a bottle right now. Hahaha, too funny. High school jocks are almost as bad as those drama queens. The ones who were in theater, they always wore black and thought they would make it big time some day. Give it a break.

  • Guess people have to be who they are. There are random people who aren't even in a band and they think they are cool for nothing more than just being alive. Hahaha what is that crap. Or like jocks in high school. They never out live their past. Hahaha

  • Well I guess that is what haooens when you are on a reality show. LOL you get famous for nothing... I guess if you get recognized you think that you are too cool. Local band members are like that too. They play some shitty bar and a few people know them at that bar and they think they are all cool.

  • Yeah its on E channel. I think. I think that girl is hot. She looked good in real life too. That dude thinks he is so cool. Sings in a local band and thinkgs he is too cool. Hahaha the music sucks I think. When I was there, there was some young kid who thought he was like some majorrock star.

  • I know that one, yeah that girl's name is like Greta or something. She's alright looking. Whats that band's name again? I cant remember it. That's the show on E right? Like Sunday nights.

  • Speaking of Vegas, the last time I was there I went to the Rainbow Bar and Grill and saw that girl from Paradise city and the tall dark haired dude that sings in some band on the show. It was so funny cause that reality show throes all these people together who don't know each other and makes them all hang out.

  • Yeah or they liked McDonald's hamburgers. Or Las Vegas, What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Hahaha so the alien kills some people and no one knows because the saying is What happens in LV stays in LV. So no one said anything. Hahahahaha

  • Yeah or maybe some other freak advertising thing like the Alien actually liked starbucks coffee and that is why it kept coming back.

  • Yeah of like Alien, that movie just kills me. The thing just keps oing and going. Energizer should have been the sponsor. Hahahaha maybe say that the Alien got its powers from the energizer battery. Then it would have been a real joke; not that it wasn't already.

  • Haha that is funny as all get up. I hate that too. I mean come on on already. Remember Freddykruger? That guy never went away. Or Jason, what there was like 25 Halloweens. And then "Son of Jason" what is that al about. Like he stopped long enough o have a kid. With who? Another axe murderer. Hahahahah LOL

  • Yeah I hate it when you have "an ending" that leaves room for another movie and it is so obvious. Like the bad guy dies, and then the last seen you see his hand move or something. That is so blatant. What a joke.

  • Yep that is my exact point, you can have a delay in the conclusion if the idea is to have one soon. I think even a year is too long. But 6 months works. That is not too long to wait for a conclusion. So like for Oceans 11, it ended, and didn't have a clear "We'll see you next time" type of a cliff hanger, the option was there.

  • Yeah I hate it when you have "an ending" that leaves room for another movie and it is so obvious. Like the bad guy dies, and then the last seen you see his hand move or something. That is so blatant. What a joke.

  • True true; I think that as long as the movie company can put out the 2nd or 3rd of the movie pretty quick, like 6 months no more, then it would work. I just don't like to see these movies not have a clear conclusion if it is going to take years to see one.

  • Yeah but it is kind of hard to wait too long for a conclusion or a next chapter. Like 1 year in between is too long I think. The Matrix was like that, the first one came out and then the 2nd came out like 4 years later, I mean that is too long. The 3rd did come out like 3 or 4 months later though, that was good.

  • I haven't seen it yet, but I do want to. Even though it is the 3rd, the story can get interesting, I guess its like a book that has lots of chapters about a story, I think that there is no real reason that movies have to actually have a conclusion for them to be good.

  • Has anyone seen Oceans 13 yet? I wonder if they can make this one an interesting movie since it is the 3rd one. I think that these companies make movies like crazy and think that people will just identify with the name so they keep making sequels. I guess they are right and wouldn't do it if they didn't work.

  • I will, I'll get my crap together. I like what I am hearing it is going to help I think. Thanks for the advice, I like what I am hearing. It just takes a while to make it sink in.

  • Now you get it, now you can see what I am talking about. That is the truth. Try it, start today. Say only good things about yourself. Start in the mirror everyday. Then look me up on Youtube and we can talk about Usana.

  • Wow that is pretty deep, maybe you are right, maybe that is how I is. Maybe the truth is that you can reverse how you think about yourself, then it will help in your business. I bet that is what happens for sure.

  • Well like I said you need to just get it out in your mind first then you can do it in reality. You have to believe in yourself, you can do it. You can. Just be strong in your mind. The rest will come. You know how a child gets a bad complex about themselves? It is from years of their parents saying they cant or they are no good. They just start believing it themselves.

  • I really wish it was that easy, I really do. But its hard to just go up to people. Maybe I don't like the products that much, should I look in to another company? I find it just pretty hard to talk to random people. I am not like some people who can just talk to anyone.

  • I really wish it was that easy, I really do. But its hard to just go up to people. Maybe I don't like the products that much, should I look in to another company? I find it just pretty hard to talk to random people. I am not like some people who can just talk to anyone.

  • Well what if you don't have many friends or family to start your networking? Doesn't that kind of hinder your success? I would think that a person with a large network would be able to really get going fast. I want to do then have, but it isn't really that easy.

  • The truth about time is, it doesn't wait for anyone, you can sit and argue the merits of joining a network marketing company or you can just do it and start to make it work. What's your choice? The fact remains that you need to be able to do before you can have. So many people want it the other way around. Have before you do...

  • There only steers and q...s in Utah, wait that is Texas... I better research before I speak, huh? Todd??? I hear the snow is pretty good, the problem is that the global warming is making sow hard to come by. it doesnt snow as much and it doesnt last.

  • you say that like utah lacks talent. Have you ever been to utah? It's beautiful and has so much talent. do your research before you say ignorant comments like that.

  • I have a couple friends who work in the film industry. I bet this commercial took like ALL day to film. It seems so short and simple but it is the longest process. Thats why actors SHOULD get paid a lot, it's so much sitting and waiting it's so boring. These guys are pretty good if they are just utah based actors.

  • I wonder if these actors are based out of L.A.? Isn't Usana based out of utah? Maybe they made these videos in utah with non union actors. A lot of films and commercials are filmed in utah because it's so much cheaper

  • this is such a random messageboard. It makes me laugh. almost as random as this video

  • they were talking about the usana toothpaste and fluoride or something.

  • what does teeth cleaning have to do with Usana? are you watching the same video i am? i see a guy in a bad suit and a lime green shirt on the girl. what do you see?

  • I think weak teeth are genetic right? do you drink a lot of soda pop? When i was in my teens I drank soda every single day and my teeth were so bad. My dentist told me to stop drinking it and now i rarely have cavities so I think your diet had drinking pop has a lot to do with it

  • who cares. it doesn't matter how much I brush my teeth or floss, every single time I go to the dentist i have at least 2 cavities. And if I don't have a cavity, I have to replace an old filling or something like that. it drives me crazy. I've tried all the nice toothpastes in hopes it will strengthen my teeth. no change at all.

  • isn't fluoride what they give you at the dentist when they are cleaning your teeth? that really really nasty chalky tasting stuff? I hate the dentist. If everyone is so anti fluoride then why do they have it in toothpaste?

  • I don't exactly know why everyone is anti fluoride but I think it's because if you consume a lot of it, it's bad for your system or something. But then I think it also strengthens your teeth so some states want it in the water and some dont. It's a big debate I guess.

  • MACRO-OPTIMIZERS have been developed by USANA's team of scientists to help take the guesswork out of proper nutrition. These precision formulations not only provide the correct amounts of healthy carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, they also taste great and are convenient. More importantly, they will help you build a lasting foundation for true health for tomorrow.

  • These delicious snack bars and drink mixes are formulated to be low glycemic to provide sustained energy throughout the day. All USANA MACRO-OPTIMIZERS have been analyzed and do not contain trans fats.

  • New MACRO-OPTIMIZERS are a healthy source of complex carbohydrates, complete proteins, and beneficial fats. SOYAMAX™, based on highquality soy protein, provides complete and balanced amino acids. And some MACRO-OPTIMIZERS, such as FIBERGY® and Iced Lemon FIBERGY BARS™, are low-fat, high-fiber foods.

  • Trans fat may also reduce HDL (good cholesterol levels). Elevated LDL-C increases the risk of developing coronary heart disease. The health risks posed by this dangerous fat have prompted the FDA to require that U.S. food manufacturers list trans fat amounts on all nutritional labels by 2006.

  • Trans fatty acids, or trans fats, are created when food manufacturers turn vegetable oil into solid fat, like shortening and hard margarine. This process increases the shelf life of foods, including the potato chips, cookies, and fried food that Americans consume every day. Trans fat behaves like saturated fat, clogging arteries and increasing LDL-C (bad cholesterol) levels.

  • High-glycemic diets also have been linked to obesity, type II diabetes, insulin resistance, and heart disease. Virtually all convenience foods and many meal replacement and diet products on the market today are unfortunately, high glycemic.

  • High-glycemic foods provide quick energy, but it is usually short lived and hunger soon returns. Low-glycemic foods provide greater satiety and sustained energy, which makes eating less and losing weight easier.

  • The glycemic index is a way of measuring the rate at which carbohydrates are broken down and appear in the blood as simple sugars. Those foods that result in a rapid rise in blood sugar have a high-glycemic index. Carbohydrates that are broken down slowly and cause only a moderate increase in blood sugar have a low-glycemic index. Some carbohydrates fall in between.

  • THE IMPORTANCE OF A LOW-FAT, HIGH-FIBER DIET

Soluble fiber, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. Low-fat diets rich in fiber-containing grain products, fruits, and vegetables may also reduce the risk of some types of cancer, a disease associated with many factors. Unfortunately, the normal diet in today's society includes only onehalf to two-thirds of the fiber necessary for optimal health.

  • Beneficial fats are high in essential fatty acids and low in saturated fatty acids. No more than 10 percent of your total daily calories should be derived from saturated fat.

  • THE RIGHT MACRONUTRIENTS

It is vitally important that your diet include the right types of each class of macronutrient:

The right carbohydrates are either complex carbohydrates or fiber, and have a low-glycemic index. Complex carbohydrates and fiber generally supply additional healthy trace elements and phytonutrients, as well as energy.

A healthy diet includes a variety of protein sources including complete proteins, which contain all of the essential amino acids.

  • At USANA, we understand that good nutrition includes both micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other compounds we consume in small amounts) and macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, and fats that make up the bulk of our food). The primary goal of good nutrition is to promote lifelong good health. This state of well-being implies the optimal performance of all body systems.

  • To achieve and maintain a healthy body, your body's cells need specific nutrients (high-quality protein, varied fiber sources, low-glycemic carbohydrates, beneficial fats, vitamins, and minerals). When your body's cells lack these vital nutrients, they do not function properly.

  • MACRO-OPTIMIZERS were developed to provide great-tasting, high-quality macronutrients your body needs to maintain health and feel great. These convenient, lowglycemic foods can be used along with the ESSENTIALS™ and OPTIMIZERS to complete your healthy diet. Many MACRO-OPTIMIZER foods contain beneficial ingredients like dietary fiber, soy protein, and potassium - ingredients that may help prevent cancer, heart disease, and hypertension.

  • irtually all chronic degenerative diseases that plague today's world are caused or exacerbated by the deterioration of the modern diet.

  • look who's back.....

  • what the hell is the video above this one on the usana list? Is usana popular in asia cultures or something? Is it even the same thing?

  • That cucumber video is like 6 minutes long and frankly I don't care enough about it to spend 6 minutes watching it. I think all you have to do is literally soak onions and cucumbers in vinegar right? I am starving right now and on a diet so i think that would be a healthy snack.

  • vinegar soaked cucumbers? That sounds kinda good actually. but totally sounds like a food that a grandma would make. Like pickled pigs feet. groooooss. My mom and grandpa love those. Who does that?

  • my question is why is the video titled vinegar soaked cucumber on the list of "related topics". Don't get me wrong, my grandma makes those on occasion and they are so delicious but what does that have to do with usana?
