Buster Keaton did many commercials. I think he was quite smart for doing that...it reminded everyone that he was still there and ready to work (he also did one of the early TV series done on film, called "Life with Buster Keaton"). In fact, he even did short films like "The Triumph of Lester Snapwell" that were created to promote some company or cause (in that case, Kodak 126 film).

Keaton appeared in several commercials for Alka-Seltzer in 1958-'59. Dick Beals is "Speedy"'s voice.

I think Keaton was much less of a "stone face" in these commercials than he was in his silent films!
