  • its called physics...

  • Can we use a fridge to do it too?????

  • Yeah, I think hong kong is one of the first place that have this

  • we want machines in PERTH!!!!

  • what happens if you turn your body upside down after you drink the coke? lol

  • kinda confusing... so the 'fridge' that they are using is special? will this cause any adverse effects to your health? o_O

  • We need one in Singapore!

  • @CazzChick where do you live? :)

  • i want to drink coke too :'(

  • What will happen if you make a break dance freeze after you drank it? XD

  • It is NOT super cooling. Super cooling turns it into a block of ice. In this case it is not, it is turned into 'slush', a mixture of ice and water. High pressure lowers the freezing point of water since the water is more dense than ice. The coke is pressurized so the freezing point becomes lower than 0C, than the machine keeps the temperature at 0C. Once you open the bottle (releases the pressure) the freezing point goes back to 0C and some of it freezes.

  • what song is this?

  • genius!

  • it's a Filipino invention on beers called BBZ or simply, Beer Below Zero Degrees... PATENT? intellectual property rights??????

  • Oh cool! I tried it in their Coca-Cola Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo 2010. So now they finally releasing it to the market? :D

  • Cool video!:) but don't drink so much of coke. not good for health:)

  • 0:50 yum

  • meh

  • Doesn't make that big of a difference

  • so where do we find one of these machines

  • when is it coming to Malaysia?

  • is it coming to Singapore? we need that shiznitz here! haha

  • PEPSI DISLIKE THIS!

  • My kids do that all the time in the freezer, nothing new about it.

  • you know i always loved coke, but this video IS NOT A HOW TO video."flip it to make it icy" - really?

  • can we do it with our normal coke?

  • lol. curious as to why no asian person was interviewed. they'll probabaly be like..ohh. Super cooling molecular transfusion! ...

  • should try this in india

  • I want it !

  • This should replace Coke all OVER the WORLD!

  • cool.is it on sale now?

  • New freezy innovation? vending machines designed to do specifically that have been around in hong kong for years!

  • I watched this with the snowflakes and it really added something.

  • Below Zero Coke

  • It will be best sold in Singapore.

  • These people just made themselves look stupid in the video. I learnt about SUPER COOLING liquid when i was 12. and have tried it with plain mineral water(and it worked). these guys havent seen anything like this before?! SERIOUSLY.

  • What are they putting in the bottels in the USA it dose not do that in the UK we have a fridge freezer to do that.

  • it's a shame it not in WA

  • had this in hong kong ages ago..

  • What innovation? THEY HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING NEW!

  • cocacola aus has some pretty cool campaigns recently! im impressed XD

  • Just put it in a freezer. Then when it is iced-up, leave it out of the fridge/freezer for +1hr, and you'll get the same effect!

  • The Drink won't be carbonated.. -.- Why drink something flat but frozen?

  • The Drink won't be carbonated.. -.- Why drink something flat but frozen?

  • The drink will not be properly carbonated after freezing it..

  • -.- idiots, The drink will not be properly carbonated after freezing it..

  • In the US please!!!!!!!

  • Love coke!! Que rico una cokita asi de friaaaaa!!! Wowwwwww!

  • Please bring a machine to Perth!

  • Can't believe people think this is new. I have been doing this for years. Place a 600ml coke in the freezer for 2 - 2 1/2hr and when you open it, it freezes like this, don't even need to turn it upside down. Just don't leave it in the freezer too long!

  • These machines dont exist!

  • Is there one in Melbourne

  • neat

  • Amazing, even though it was long it didn't actually explain what was going on. Also haven't Australians never seen ice before?

  • after it "ices up" the first time you turn it around, does it "ice up" again next time you turn it around?

  • UNSW!!!!!!! = D

  • Soooo intense...

  • Coke Zero?

  • hehehe Pour it on yah finger :D

  • I wanna try one of these, when and where will be the next public test run be?!

  • LOL MARK YOU ROCK

    LOVE ADAM

  • Love coke It's all i drink :-) coke for everyone!!!! Everyone that visits my home is always offered a free coke :-)

  • @CazzChick I love coke too. I stood in front of the window of my local pepsi plant and nursed down a 2 litre coke just to piss them off. but if its all you drink, even i'm concerned for your health. if you're drinking enough that you're getting a sufficient amount of fluids per day then you're almost certainly getting way too much sugar and could be putting yourself at risk of diabetes, hypertension, obesity, sleep apnea, enamel erosion in your teeth, hypoglycemia, and stomach ulcers.

  • @CazzChick and if you're NOT drinking enough to get a sufficient amount of fluids then you're putting organs like your kidneys, bladder, gal bladder, and even your heart and liver at risk. I'm not saying you shouldn't drink coke. Have as many as you want a day, just remember it shouldn't be the only thing you drink. It isn't a sufficient amount of nutrients, water, or vitamins that you need to be healthy. Have a glass of milk every day and lots of water and maybe have juice as well.

  • @CazzChick Party at your house

  • Looks cool o.o (Pun not intended)

  • I'm so trying this on my break at work tomorrow!

I've seen them around, but I didn't know that it would do that!

  • It's the process of super cooling. Leaving the Coke in an environment that is as cold or colder than zero celsius causes the liquid molecules to achieve a state of temperature less than zero degrees. When the bottle is turned upside down it disturbs the molecules and causes ice crystals to form. This causes a chain reaction to occur hence the freezing of the drink.

  • @royal618 Doesn't that only happen with pure water? It doesn't happen with water with impurities i.e. not distilled water

  • @royal618 I went on here hoping someone would explain it to me, and then when I saw it said you had to buy it from a special machine, I assumed something like this.

  • @royal618 you smart

  • @royal618 so techincally this would be possible to do by putting you coke in the freezer for some time and the flipping it? or is a freezer to cold?

  • @royal618 yeah that's what i thought too. then i realised they actually opened it and drank from it before they flipped the bottle upside down. . . wouldn't opening and drinking first cause a disturbance? that's what i don't get :/

  • @royal618 Question 1: If it was left at a temperature at or under zero degrees, wouldn't be a solid?

Question 2: Aren't the molecules already disturbed when you shake it slightly?

  • @royal618 But if u put ur coke in an environment that is colder den zero degrees celsius, wudnt d coke freeze solid? im jz askin cos i jz dun understand.

  • @royal618 This I understand, the process of supercooling, but how about the dispensation process, isn't the bottle tumbled around on the way out of the vending machine? Or does the Ice Up machine have a special dispensation mechanism?

  • frozen at pressure below zero so when you open and release the pressure it freezes.

  • @AussiePolitics you got that right. turning it upside down doesn't really help

  • Great for them to have this... but it doesn't seem to be anymore special than putting a coke in the freezer for 15 minutes

  • Cool... literally!

  • FUMS UP 4 COKE :)

  • Hows this work?
