i tell ya, im a death metal guy and i saw them do this for the first time on tv at the glastonbury coverage. i was thinking the beginning piano was a bit repettitive but by the time the strings came in my eyes were watering. absoloutely beautiful. Not the hardest song to play instrument wise, but you have to be a really special musician to write something like this. Amazing isnt the word, its amazing what a soundscape thy create with all the instruments and vocals. love em!

This is such an amazing song. I saw Elbow play at Delamere Forest in 2008. There were several moments where I was completely overwhelmed: Mirrorball, Grace Under Pressure, One Day Like This, and then when they ended with Scattered Black And Whites, the tears truly flowed. One of the most beautiful evenings of my 27 years
