I just love this, People are so misconceptioned about we Catholics, I pray for them, what peace in this persons voice on the video..Pray for me folks, I have quit cigarettes and alchol with His and my Dr's help Praise the Lord each day is a new journey with the Lord.
@MarysLittleFlower If you head to his website, The Reason For Our Hope Foundation, you can find he has one talk there for free and other dvd's and cd's for purchase. :) This talk would be found in a different format on his talk on Prayer
@MarysLittleFlower Oh, and yes the talk itself can go here; I believe it's either Called to Love or maybe another of his. Good luck finding it and God bless! h t t p : //commarts.libsyn. c o m /2005
I am not Catholic but have just been introduced to Father Larrys work, this man rocks, this man knows The Bible, you know the strange thing is I know that what this man says could be said in any Evangelical Church and be fully accepted.
@peteracre Amen! :) We have so much more in common as Christians than what seperates us; I love being a Catholic, and I wish all people knew how much grace there is there. But the first step to unity is love and what we share; and I really think we need to come together, Protestants and Catholics, What you said is really encouraging to me right now. :) God bless!
Oh to God if I could truly believe this! My whole christian life has been one of abstract failure, if this were really true in my life wouldn't it keep me from reaching for everything under the sun to make me feel alive?!
Jesus said that there is only one Father and that's Him. So, I really do not like when people call other people father. Can't we call him a preacher or a man of God?
I think you could have put that a little more respectfully. Never forget that your talking to a person, so don't speak any different than you would in person. God bless. :)
Quite frankly, I'm a little tired of being put on the defensive by non-Catholics who don't understand Catholicism, the Bible, history, Church doctrine, and obedience as Christ commanded us; and am also weary of Catholics who choose to NOT learn these things, and then stand by and let people like miracleispossible misquote the Bible.

And of course, semantics is exactly the point of this video.
Miracleispossible10, according to your logic, you would have to come up with a name for your biological father as well.
