I'm wondering if it's possible to swap out a 4.6liter gt motor from lets say a 2000-2002 mustang and "drop-in" a 5.4liter 4valve motor? Would this be a drop-in or would there have be fabrication of some kind? I'm curious cause my girlfriend has a 2001 and it's a 4.6 gt model and she's wanting more from it. I say there's no replacement for displacement. Just curious cause i have never worked on fords before and wanna do something special for her. Any help would be appreciated and thanks.
